Our School
I.E.S. K.G. Bhandup was originally started by 'Kanjur Co-op
Hsg. Soceity, and then handed over to Indian Education Society,
Hindu Colony, Dadar in 1985.
In 1985 when the school started there were 118 children with
one division of Sr. K.G. English Medium and Motha Shishu and
Balwarg of Marathi Medium. |

| The school
is headed by Smt. Chitra C. Jamsandekar. She is assisted by
Dy. Head Shri. Janardan V. Naik. There are in all seven teachers,
one clerk, one peon, one sweeper and three Aays. The school
has three security guards. |

and Objectives |

| From the
very outset of the school we have been trying to co-relate curricular
and extra curricular activities. Concentrating more on all-round
development of every child we give them ample chances of participating
in various competitions. To inculcate moral, traditional and
cultural values we celebrate various festivals. Picnics and
camps are arranged to inculcate the qualities like team spirit,
selflessness and co-operation in our students. |

Message:
Education should bring about an all-round development of a child.
Education plays an important role in the development of human
potentials.
If we want our tomorrow to be better then our today we have
to tap the child, who will be tomorrow's youth and he will
be able to change today. If the children are imparted good
Education they themselves will inculcate good values which
are needed today.
Children of this age (2 to 5 years) like to play with the
friends. They like to sing songs, to draw pictures and colour
it, they also love stories, but in our compact families they
don't have company of the same age group. Parents have no
time to tell them stories or to give them sufficient time.
They get friends, love and care, so children like our K.G.
they love teachers and their play-way method.
Every day they come to school very eagerly.
