The Indian Education Society’s College of Architecture is a part of the educational
complex known as the “Vishwakarma” M. D. Lotlikar Vidya Sankul, constructed on a
plot admeasuring 0.6 hectare at Bandra Reclamation, located opposite to Lilavati
Hospital, the college is easily accessible by all means of public transport.
The “Vishwakarma” M.D. Lotlikar Vidya Sankul comprises of a basement and 6 upper
floors, totally admeasuring 1,70,000 sq.ft. of built up area. The College of Architecture
has spacious lecture halls, design studios, a library, computer lab, workshops for
carpentary and model-making laboratories for photography, climatology and surveying
, an exhibition hall, construction yard, a sports room, etc. other facilities available
on campus include an auditorium with a seating capacity of 800 persons, a private
gymnasium, a canteen and other recreational facilities. The Indian Education Society’s
College of Architecture also offers campus hostel facilities to outstation students.
The IES College of Architecture imparts Innovative teaching and learning, including
modern management skills. Strong links with the Profession, Industry, Govt. Semi-Govt
and also NGOs. The Facilities offer a rich educational experience in a unique location,
within a convenient, airy, spacious, green infrastructure. Further knowledge and
research skills are also developed through need-based projects.

The I.E.S. College of Architecture has spacious lecture
halls and seminar rooms equipped with projectors and other audio visual aids.

Large design studios with ample natural light and ventilation
provide pleasant working atmosphere conducive to working. The studios have ergonomically
designed drawing desks and stools having independent locker facility for each student.

The I.E.S. College Of Architecture has a well stocked library containing essential
material for self-study. C. D. ROMs and other forms of information are also available.
The library also remains open during the vacations for reference.

The
I.E.S. College Of Architecture has up to date computer hardware and software to
enable students to access information through the internet and to work on their
own projects. Expert guidance is also made available to students on a regular basis.

A
spacious exhibition hall having display boards provides facility for occasional
presentation of projects by the students. Annual exhibitions of students’ project
work as well as the design juries are also held in the exhibition hall. The exhibitions
are arranged through joint efforts by all students.

A
centrally air-conditioned 800-seater AUDITORIUM named Manik Sabhagriha is one of
the main features at the IES Management College campus. The auditorium is used for
conventions, meetings and seminars with eminent corporate personalities.

The
College of Architecture also has a fully-equipped workshop with various machineries
for enabling the students to make their architectural models. Thus in the workshop
the students are taught various skills like carpentry, etc. for their model-making.

The IES Management has a students’ hostel in Bandra (E), for outstation student’s
accommodation.
