The Indian Education
Society's 'King George School' now named 'Raja Shivaji Vidyalaya'
was founded in the year 1912. Then the Society was formed in
the year 1917.In the beginning all the three sections secondary,
Primary and KG were together and later they were segregated
into individual units |

The pioneers for this educational institution were Shri. S.V.
Nabar, Shri. P.V. Patkar, Shri. B.N. Vaidya and P.K. Dhamdhere.Their
vision was to impart knowledge, ensure discipline and inculcate
good moral values among the children. All the children in the
vicinity are admitted irrespective of caste or creed. Besides
Academics, sports and to curricular Activities are encouraged.
Children are prepared for middle and High School Scholarship
exams. Children excelled in the S.S.C Board Exams too.
