It is rightly
said that
Sow a seed and you will reap a habit,
Sow a habit and you will reap a character,
Sow a character and you will reap a destiny.
And so we believe in character building. The purpose of education
is not just making a child literate. Education adds rationality
to one's thinking, makes one knowledgeable and self-sufficient.
Late Shri Vishwakarma Manikrao Loltikar set up his dream school
which was later renamed as Manik Vidya Mandir.
The Secondary Section began in the year 1997 with strength of
30 students in the fifth standard. Now the total strength has
gone up to 570 students. The second batch of tenth standard
students appeared for their S.S.C exams in March 2004, with
an outstanding performance, the passing percentage being 97.
