Pratyush:
Activities of IES are not confined to academics alone. since
the year 2000, IES hosts its annual cultural festival christened
"Pratyush" with graet fan fair. Over the years Praytush
has been witnessed, judged and honored by various celebrity
guests like Cyrus Broacha, Kunal Vijaykar, Aryan Vaidya, Preeti
Janghiani, Ruby Bhatia, Rahul Bhatt, Amol Muzumdar, etc. These
celebrities of every field showered their encomiums at the
talent displayed by the students.

IES's Magazine:
IES publishes its own magazine called Anvesha which denotes
Quest. Anvesha was given its identity by a group of IES students
with the continuous support and guidance of faculty members.
Unveiled on 7th October, 2001 the magazine was initially a quarterly
magazine and After it's Anniversary issue it has now been made
a bi-annual magazine. This magazine carries numerous informative
articles contributed by our students as well as people from
industry.

Research Center at IES:
The IES management college has started its research center activities
in 2001 under the able guidance of the core faculty members,
Prof. Vijay Shahane & Prof. Parag Mahulikar. The objective
of the research center is to collect and transform data into
knowledge packages for use in teaching. The research activities
broadly include generation of database, digitalisation of database,
data upgradation, sectoral analysis etc.These extensive activities
are continuously carried out by our own group of dedicated students. |

Street Plays:
In the year 2002, our students have won the first prize in the
Street Play Competition held at IIM Bangalore after 3 consecutive
wins in the street play competitions held within Mumbai. |

Udaan:
IES hosted its first conference titled UDAAN 2003 with the theme
being "India on the fast track" . The basic idea of
this conference was to discuss issues relating to India's quest
of becoming an economic force in the global markets. Well renowned
corporates like Mr. Anil Nadkarni (Directors Siemens), Mr. S.
Haribhakti (Chairman Haribhakti Group), Mr. Mahesh Vyas (CEO
CMIE), Dr. B. R. Singh (M.D. ISPAT Ind. Ltd.) were the speakers
for the conference. Udaan 2004 was hosted with theme of "Beyond
Traditional HR". This conference threw light on past, the
present and future of HR.

| Insight:
Looking beyond 2005…… That was the theme for
the Pharma Seminar held in May 2003. The bigwigs of the pharmaceutical
Industry made their presence on this day and few of them shared
their views on the paradigm shift in the Industry in another
few years time. Insight 2004 had the theme Developing
Sustainable Competitive Advantage wherein the top notch people
from the Pharmaceutical Industry threw light on various topics
like Countering the Counterfeit, Sculpting Medical Representatives,
Go GlobalNew Mantra for Growth etc. The speaker included Mr.
S. W. Deshpande, Joint Commissioner, FDA, Mr.N. Y. Sanglikar,
Head-Corporate Communication, GlaxoSmithKline Ltd, Dr. R.
B. Smarta, Managing Director, Interlink Healthcare Pvt. Ltd.
The Chief Guest, Dr. S. Venkateshwarlu, Deputy Drug Controller,
West Zone, inaugurated the function and delivered the keytone
address.
