| Curriculum: |
The Pre-Primary
section of the New English Kindergarten and Balodyan races ahead
of time in its activities and achievements compared to other
Kindergartens. Innovative practices in the field of education
are successfully implemented and experimentation are always
conducted to make the teaching lessons more child centered.
In order to make learning more interesting to children the Kindergarten
has adopted many modern teaching aids such as Audio Visual slide
shows, Transparency, Soft toy-making, puppetry etc. We also
have computer training classes for lthe benefit of our children,
weekly once we avail this facility. |
| To ensure
the all round development of children to our already existing
teaching method our K.G. follows the Play-way method of teaching.
The young children need many opportunities to learn and they
use play as a way to discover and master themselves. Hence we
provide them with lot of activities like Drawing, Coloring,
Printing, Sticking, Pasting, Collage work, Paper folding, Clay
Molding etc. which cater to their motor development. Games associated
to certain topics we planned to make it east for the children
to grasp and understand. |
| Every year
we have Annual gathering and Prize distribution ceremony where
many of our children take part in various programmes and prize
winners are felicitated. Annual trips and picnics are arranged
for all the classes and children are taken out to a nearby spot.

| Our teachers
are well trained and they participate and conduct various workshops,
seminars and exhibitions in order to keep themselves abreast
to the current developments in the field of Education. They
always use innovative ideas to prepare the teaching aids and
materials. |
| Our K.G.
follows a prescribed syllabus for Mini, Jr & Sr.K.G. in
both the mediums. Our teachers have scheduled timetable and
they follow a fortnightly planning. The lessons are conducted
as per the planning. In order to keep in touch with the parents
about their child's developments and progress in the class,
we arrange a regular parent-teacher meeting. |
| Various
cultural and educational projects are displayed. We also celebrate
National Festivals & Special days in our K.G. to acquaint
children with their importance and information regarding this
is given to them. Detailed information is written on the black-boards
and eatables are distributed during certain festivals by which
children derive enjoyment as well as a sense of oneness. Rakhis,
which are prepared by the children in the class, are distributed
to every one on Raksha Bandhan day. During Diwali fire works
are displayed and during Christmas our teachers dress up as
Santa-claus and distribute sweets to our tiny-tots. |
The child's
physical, mental and social development and creative activities
our assessed regularly by the teachers and their assessment
analysis is recorded twice in a year, which is sent to the parents.
Finally in the month of March we arrange a felicitation ceremony
for the prizewinners of outside competitions. Thus throughout
the year our whole section is ever ready to do many novel things
of interests and our motto is to 'Provide plenty of experiences
to the children.'
Thus N.E.K.G. & Balodyan's sole aim lies in bringing out
the unique potentiality of each and every child in a most homely
atmosphere, there by developing them into an ideal citizen of
the future.
