With a keen interest in History, Mythology, Conservation, Buildings and Design I bring in a variety of perspectives to learning. To help students identify, explore and enhance their skills in design, theory and execution is my forte.

Awards:
Awarded the MASA best Teacher’s award in the Humanities category 2019-2020

Guest Speaker:
Invited as a guest lecturer for SKLTCOA for a talk on Medieval Art- A halo in the dark times. Invited as a guest speaker for COA TRC-‘Understanding Temples’ for a talk on Mythologies in temples-case of Meenakshi temple Madurai.

Workshops and walks:
Conducted a workshop ‘Space Making through Photography’ at the Annual Nasa Convention Bangalore in February 2020.

Conducted Heritage walk for delegates of Van Alen Institute in November 2018.

Research and Writing:
Writer for the book ‘The Heritage Handbook- Mumbadevi precinct with MMRDA and People Place Project. (ongoing)

Contributed to an article ‘Book Review-The Heritage Handbook- a walk through Mumbai fort’ for JIIA September 2021issue. Contributed to an article

‘Learning through Writing’ for K.B Jain’s book titled ‘Learning Architecture in May 2019.

Contributed to stories and articles for books by the People Place Projects ‘Its Playtime (December 2019); ‘People Called Khalaghoda’ (February 2019) and ‘People Called Ahmedabad’ (January 2017) for the People Place Project.

Presented Research paper on A study of the interrelationship between Spaces and Stories, case of Meenakshi Temple, Madurai published at the MASA Convention 2017.
