About
Rucha has completed her Master’s program in Environmental Architecture at Rachana Sansad College of Architecture in the year 2014. After 8 years of professional experience, she has ventured into teaching since 2017. She presented her research paper ‘Different faces of Urbanization: Case study of gaothans in Thane’ at the Asian Regional Conference on Peri-Urbanization held in Bhopal in the year 2019.
Apart from academic subjects, she believes in exploring different aspects of architecture and creating experimental exercises for the students. Hence she developed and conducted ‘Daylighting Through Facade’ electives for two consecutive years which focused on exploring the role of facade design, aperture sizes in daylighting.
She guided the GRIHA team in NASA Convention 2021 which won a Citation award for their work.
