Children naturally learn about colours as they are exposed to them since their birth. The ability to identify colours is considered a marker and milestone in a child’s cognitive process and is often part of early screening for development and educational admittance. So, to further make this an interesting and involving process, we held a cluster of days - ‘Colour Fiesta’. Children wore the said colour dress and also spoke a few lines by showing the related colour object.

This cluster of daysconcluded with a ‘Talk on My Favourite Colour’. It was a joy to see each child dress in their favourite colour and speak on it emphasizing the meaning of the colour.

The day that celebrates the essence of a mother is Mother’s Day. One of those occasions that none of us can afford to miss. Mother’s Day is something everyone can relate to. There could not be a more universal celebration than this one.

Keeping this bonding emotion in mind, we at Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony had a special celebration on Mother’s Day. As we know Mother’s Day comes once a year and coincides with Pola. So, to honour our mothers’ our dear children prepared crowns and cards. Every child offered Haldi Kumkum to their mom and placed a crown and also gave a card to them. Touched to see the love this bond brings. It only once again highlighted that a mother’s love for her child was incomparable.
