Our school celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and active participation on Saturday, 20th June 2026. The celebration aimed to create awareness among students and teachers about the importance of yoga in maintaining a healthy body and a peaceful mind.
The programme was conducted class-wise, with two classes performing at a time, starting from Std. IV to Std. I. The yoga session was led by our PT Sir Mr. Devendra Patil, under the guidance and encouragement of our respected In-charge Madam, Mrs. Sunanda Ramadhin. The class teachers actively assisted in conducting the session and ensured that every student participated with interest and discipline.
Students performed a variety of simple, yet energetic yogasanas and stretching exercises with enthusiasm. A special highlight of the session was the Clap Yoga exercise, which the students performed beautifully with great excitement and coordination. The teachers also participated in the yoga session under the guidance of the PT Sir, setting a wonderful example for the students.
The celebration was filled with energy, positivity, and joy. Both students and teachers enjoyed the activities while learning the importance of practising yoga regularly. The event successfully spread the message of "Stay Fit, Stay Healthy" and encouraged everyone to adopt yoga as a part of their daily routine for physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle.
The Yoga Day celebration concluded on a positive note, leaving everyone inspired to continue practising yoga for a healthier and happier life.
The new academic session commenced with great enthusiasm and joy as the school organized a grand welcome ceremony for students on the first day of school. The entire campus was filled with excitement as students and parents arrived to begin the new academic year.
The program was conducted under the guidance of our respected madam, Mrs. Sunanda Ramadhin. Our madam warmly welcomed the children by showering flower petals upon their arrival, creating a joyful and memorable atmosphere.
We Celerated Guru Pournima on 10th July by showing and explaining of the project displayed in the school.
Ashadhi Ekadashi was celebrated in the school by taking out the Dindi in the school. Children were dressed as Lord Vitthal and Rukmini and few other saints. Teachers explained the importance of the day.
PDEMP celebrated Yoga Day on 21st June 2025 in the school.

it was celebrated on 23rd of August Students of PDEMP form a human pyramid to break the Plastic vessel (Handi). Dahi handi is one of the festive events and a team spirit.
it was celebrated on 14th August 2019, Where students shared information on Raksha Bandhan. Delicious coconut Barfi was enjoyed by them. Girls tied rakhi on boys hand.
Students were dressed in traditional attire for mock Dindi. Some were dressed up as Lord Vitthal, Goddess Rakhumai, varkaris of Maharashtra. Students sang Devotional songs related to the festival.
On 21st June 2019, International Yoga Day was celebrated by the students and staff of our school with great enthusiasm. Our PT sir’s demonstrated various asanas, pranayam followed by Omkar chanting. Our headmistress Smt. Anjana Roy shared information regarding the origin and benefits of Yoga as a way of life. She herself took active participation and engaged the students in performing yogic execises. Students enjoyed the exercises and promised that they will practice it regularly.
This academic year, the school re-opened on 17th June 2019 and the new faces of Std I came with a beautiful cheer. We had a wonderful ‘Welcome Ceremony’ held in the Activity room on 2nd floor. Our headmistress Smt. Anjana Roy - welcomed all the tiny tots with her cute smile and tons of blessings. She addressed them in brief about the coming year. Children enjoyed singing songs and dancing on load music. Each student was given a welcome batch and a rose. They had a joyful re-opening day.
