Homi Bhabha Balvaidyanik Gold Medal Achievement!

We are proud to announce that MAST VIRAJ UDAY THATTE (STD 6) has been awarded the prestigious Homi Bhabha Balvaidyanik Gold Medal! This recognition is a testament to his exceptional scientific aptitude, dedication, and hard work.The Homi Bhabha Balvaidyanik Exam is a highly respected science talent competition conducted by the Mumbai Science Teachers' Association, encouraging young minds to pursue excellence in science. Winning the Gold Medal is a remarkable achievement and places MAST VIRAJ among the brightest young scientific talents in the region. Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidyanik Competition, organized by the Mumbai Science Teachers' Association (MSTA), is a multi-level science competition aimed at nurturing young scientific talent.

The competition includes :
Level 1: Written Test - A challenging multiple-choice exam assessing conceptual understanding of science.
Level 2: Practical Exam-Hands-on science activities and experiments designed to evaluate practical application and observation skills.
Levels 3 and 4- Action research project and viva voce.

An in-depth personal interview where students showcase their scientific temperament and understanding.For the final round, MAST VIRAJ conducted an insightful action research project on "Sustainable Landscaping", exploring eco-friendly methods to design and maintain green spaces. During the viva, MAST VIRAJ confidently presented key findings, practical suggestions, and real-world applications of the project, impressing the evaluators with clarity and scientific depth.Competing through all these rigorous stages, MAST VIRAJ demonstrated outstanding performance, ultimately earning the Gold Medal—the highest honour in the competition.

Master Viraj Uday Thatte studying in 6^th A, has proven his scientific skills and knowledge and successfully cleared the Homi Bhabha theory as well as practical exam and now he has moved to Action research and Viva level.

Master Vihaan Dilip Shinde from std 7^th E was selected by Maharashtra State Jawahar Bal Bhavan, Mumbai for participating in state level Balnatya Competition on 22^nd January 2025 in which he enacted the role of King Vikram in drama titled ‘Jay Ho Fantasy’. For this he was felicitated by Honorable Education Minister Dadasaheb Bhuse on 24^th February 2025 with a medal & a certificate.

VNS Shines at the International Poster Making Competition

We are thrilled to announce the exceptional achievement of our students at the International Poster Making Competition organized by United Way, Total Energies, and Via Group.

A total of 25 VNS students participated in the first round at the school level. Out of these, the top 5 performers were selected for the city-level competition. Competing against 45 schools, the VNS Safe Zone Ambassadors secured FIRST place at the City Level.With tremendous dedication and hard work during the Diwali vacation, these students represented VNS at the National Level. At the National Level, competing against participants from 7 cities across India, the VNS Safe Zone Advocates emerged as National Winners for their outstanding performance.

International Semifinal :

With their success at the national stage, the team advanced to the International Semifinals, representing India against competitors from Malaysia and South Africa. The semifinal featured 12 esteemed jurors from across the globe for an online presentation. Our Safe Zone Advocates demonstrated confidence and excellence, presenting their ideas effectively and answering all the jury's questions with poise. Although Malaysia advanced to the next round, the efforts and talent of our students brought VNS to the International Level, earning recognition and appreciation from the global jury members.

Achievements and Recognition :

The National Winning Team comprising Twisha Mohite, Saee Pednekar, Saumya Choudhary, Sohan Shet, and Shukra Jagtap were individually awarded HP laptops for their outstanding achievement. This incredible milestone was achieved under the dedicated mentorship of Smt. Pallavi Tirodkar, Smt. Linata Mali, and Smt. Reshma Patil, and with the constant support and guidance of our respected Principal, Smt. Kalgutkar Madam. This competition provided our students with valuable global exposure, and their efforts have made the entire VNS family proud. Congratulations to the team for this outstanding accomplishment!

Our school has bagged 1^st prize at national level in International ViA child road safety program supported by TotalEnergies Foundation and Implemented by United Way Mumbai.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) flying camp provided an amazing and thrilling experience to our young rising stars with exposure to aviation and aerospace activities.
