On account of 4th Anniversary day of National education Policy 2020, Maharashtra Government, IES V.N.SULE GURUJI English Medium School had celebrated ‘Shiksha Saptah’ during 22nd July to 28th July 2024.Various activities were organised under the guidance of Principal Madam Mrs. Shamal Kalgutkar.
The first PTA Committee meeting was conducted on Saturday 6th July, 2024. For the meeting the President Smt. Shamal Kalgutkar, PTA secretary Smt. Sunanda Kadam along with 40 teachers and 40 PTA representatives were present.
1. The PTA Secretary Smt. Sunanda Kadam welcomed the parents and teachers for the meeting and introduced the President of PTA.
2. The President introduced the Supervisors and PTA secretary.
3. The President with the permission of the PTA representatives elected Vice- President Smt. Meera Aitawadekar, Joint Secretary Smt. Meenal Yelekar and Student’s representative Miss. Vishalakshi Yadav.
School has celebrated WORLD ENVIRONMENTAL DAY. On this occasion various activities were conducted in the school. Students from standard 8th, 9th and 10th have participated enthusiastically
Orientation meeting was held on 10th June 2024 for the parents of Std 5th. The students securing marks above 90% in SSC Exam were felicitated on the day.
Independence Day was celebrated in IES Raja Shivaji Campus.
The honor of Flag Hosting was given to Miss Varpesharvari Rajendra 1st Rank Holder in March 2021 SSC Exam.
Celebration of 8th International Day of Yoga on June 21 2022, in school. Special assembly was arranged in 5th floor of school building and in class rooms, in which the objectives of World Yoga Day was discussed among the students. Yoga presentation done by students of standard Vth to Xth for 30 minutes each. Total number of 1809 Students and 85 teachers took participation. The program started with chanting of the mantras. Later students performed different asanas under the guidance of school principal, Dr. Bharati M. Hajari along with Teachers and physical teachers.
Yoga is a mental, physical and spiritual practice that needs to be carried every day. Children got the chance to know how yoga embodies unity of mind and body. Different yoga postures like Padmasana, Vajrasana, Paschimotanasana, Vrikshasana, Tadasana, Parvatasana, Hasthasparshasan, OM chanting, Anilom – Vilom and Prayers were recited before and after the programme. These asanas were taught to bring about holistic approach to health and well being among the students.
