Ar. Himani Tawade Parte, an alumna of IES College of Architecture is associated with the institute as core faculty since the year 2012. Before joining teaching, she was working under Ar. Shirish Sukhatme has also worked for a brief period as a Research Assistant at CEPT University, Ahmedabad. In her spare time, she also works as a freelance Interior Designer.

On the academic front, Ar. Himani is majorly involved in teaching technical subjects like Services, Construction and ARD in addition to Architectural design. She believes that the success of any architecture lies in the combination of beauty and workability. Research ability, creativity and technical knowledge are the three important qualities that create good architects and she constantly strives to enhance these qualities in her students. She has been representing IESCOA at various technical institutions like ISHRAE and DTE.

Apart from teaching, she is a part of the Student Welfare Committee, Internal Complaints Committee and Internal Quality Audit Committee. She is also the head of the Convocation Committee and in charge of organizing various other events related to the institute and University.

1. Awarded with Sir Jahangir Shroff Gold Medal in the year 2010 for B.Arch. program of Mumbai University

2. Presented a RESEARCH PAPER in an INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE – 3rd Asian Regional Conference on Peri-Urbanization organized by SPA, Bhopal, on the topic of “Effects of Peri-Urbanization on the Environment and Infrastructure of Vasai Virar City of Maharashtra, India”

3. RESEARCH PAPER on “A study of Construction Worker’s Accommodations in Mumbai Metropolitan Region of India” published in June 2021 Edition of Journal of Indian Institute of Architects (JIIA).

4. A detailed study was conducted on SASSOON DOCK and BAZAARS.
