About


Khushboo Adhiya is an alumnus of IES College of Architecture and has completed her Masters in Landscape Design from CEPT University. She believes that learning is a never-ending process and teaching is also a means of learning. She has a keen interest in researching Landscape Architecture’s role in the urban environment and tries to explore the importance of native species in landscape design. She has worked on the execution of commercial and residential projects as a junior architect under the guidance of Architect Percy Kutar at 4.4 Design and a few landscape design projects dealing with planting layouts at Enviroscape India. She has presented her Master’s thesis “Manifestations of scriptural and ritual landscapes into pragmatic forms a case study of Govardhan hill Mathura” at ISOLA Bangalore thesis open day 2. A part of the proposed design for the “landscapes of Govardhan hill Mathura” was also presented at the Braj Sanskriti Shodh Sansthan Webinar. She is also a qualified IGBC Accredited Professional. Currently, she has involved herself in teaching Landscape design, architectural design, along with services and working drawings.

Few Projects worked on:

1. Factory building for And designs, India at Rabale with 4.4 Design
2. Landscape design for Holiday house bungalow in Alibaug for leading furniture designer Ms Anjali Mody with Enviroscape Design (Detailed working drawings, Execution, Softscape Design).
3 . Landscape design for MTDC Resort based in Mithbhav. (Design drawings, Detailed working drawings, Softscape design) with Enviroscape Design 4. Pathare Wadi Agro tourism setup at Vasind.

Publications:

1. A part of her thesis has been published as a paper “landscapes of Govardhan hill Mathura” in the book Flights of Hope by landscape foundation.
2. Reviewed the book “Sentrees of Mumbai” for the Landscape journal 56th issue.
3. Assistant in the editing of the 8th E-newsletter by the ISOLA Mumbai chapter.
4. Reviewed book, death and life of great American cities as a library assistant at CEPT University.
