Every end has a new beginning; each end is celebrated and surrounded with good wishes and blessings. So, on the 29th of March 2019, we held the “Blessing Ceremony’ for Sr KG. In the divine precincts of the Ganesh Mandir, the ceremony began with pep talk from our Madam, which was followed by overwhelming performances like group dances, speeches and songs which have etched in our hearts forever.
In the month of February our Annual Educational Exhibition ‘K-Mart’ was held on the 15th& 16th February in our KG classrooms. The exhibition portrayed the Mart and the knowledge we get from the mart through games. Along with the children Exhibition we had Real Mart for the parents on our ground where they kept their stalls.
This year end was concluded by conducting ‘Cooking competition’ for parents (KG and Primary) and staff. The ingredient was Carrot. Most of the parents participated with their best Recipe. The judges for the same were Celebrity Chef Shri. Tushar Deshmukh and Mrs. Ashwini Joshi.
On 24th December,2018 children came in party dress to celebrate Christmas. Project on the same was put up by our teachers. The butter and jam sandwich making activity was carried out for SR KG children. The mini and JR KG children relished the butter and jam sandwiches for their party. Later all children danced on the christmas carols and other popular dance numbers.
The Annual Gathering of KG was celebrated On 10th December, 2018 at Kalidas. It was overwhelming to see a packed audience on a Thursday morning!! All children of KG participated in various dances and Skit, as trained by their teachers.
It is very important to involve sports and games in academics for the children in their preschool age. It involves physical exercise and Sports and games which gives enjoyment to participants and as well as good health to all the participants..so on 4th and 5th of December 2018 we had sports day for our KG children.
Our KG parents enjoyed the Sports Event specially organised for them on the 1st of December, 2018.
Why is it important to engage children in conversation? Conversation helps children express their thoughts, get what they need, resolve conflicts, ask for help, and learn from adults and from one another. Children need many opportunities totalk—with each other, with adults, one-on-one, and in groups. To improve their conversation skills we conducted “I” Talk Activity in the class where children of Mini and Jr KG had to come and talk on the topic- My Favorite fruit and Sr KG to talk on My Favorite Vehicle.
Fancy Dress isn't just fun for preschoolers, it's an important activity that offers kids a chance to use their imaginations, build vocabulary skills and gain confidence.Dress up play is a fun activity for little kids, it's also a very important one, helping them build up their vocabulary as well as their confidence.
Deepawali or Diwali is a festival of lights symbolizing the victory of righteousness and the lifting of spiritual darkness. The word “Deepawali” refers to rows of diyas, or clay lamps. This is one of the most popular festivals in the Hindu calendar. And we celebrated Diwali on 2nd November,2018.
Children enjoyed dancing to the beats of Garba tunes. They also celebrated Bhondla by circumlating the Elephant and danced to a few traditional songs. They also relished their own pot luck Khirapat – which was delicious and also nutritious.
On 1st October, We celebrated grandparent’s day. Program on ‘Bheth’ was perfomed by Mrs.Jog. Followed by lunch for all. It was overwhelming to see the grandparents.
On 25th September, there was drawing competition conducted by ‘Navneet’ for all the KG children, they all drew ‘Birthday cake’ according to their level.
On the 10th and 11th of September, ‘Lord Ganesha’ was welcomed. All children came in colour dress and modak was distributed as prasadam.
Mother's Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. On 7th of September we celebrated ‘Mother’s Day’, Entertainment program was organized by our teachers, clerk and parents.
On the 31st of August we celebrated ‘Gokulashtami’. Children dressed up as Radhas, Gopikas and Balkrishnas. Children were narrated the story of Shree Krishna Janam.
The month of August is full of festivals and it starts with the celebration of ‘Deep Poojan’ on 10th. We beautifully displayed the project by lighting brass lamps which were adorned with flowers and leaves. Children were explained the meaning of the same. According to their levels they coloured ‘Diyas’ on paper.
On 20th of July teachers displayed the ‘Aashadi Ekadashi’ project and also conducted the virtual DINDI procession. Children enjoyed the Dindi as they all sang and clapped on the tunes of the song they learnt during their music period.
A healthy and sound mind paves way to strong body. This is indeed achieved through the practice of yoga. Starting with salutations to the Sun God….Suryanamaskar was followed by Parvataasan, Vrikshasana and a few more yogasanas.It was overwhelming to see all the children of our KG perform them diligently and enjoy the exercise.
