Annual Intra School Prize Distribution Ceremony

Annual Intra School Prize distribution ceremony of IES Bhandup Kindergarten was held at Ganesh Mandir hall on Friday 30th December 2022. Prizes were given away at the hands of Chief Guest, Smt. Nutan Deshpande, retired Headmistress of NMV KG. Parents of the prize winning students were also invited and they appreciated the programme.


Annual Gathering

Annual Gathering was organized on 8th December 2022 at Kalidas Natyagruh, Mulund. Cultural programmes are part and parcel of our school activities. It also provides a platform for the children to perform. Keeping this in mind school organizes annual gathering every year. Children were trained by the teachers.

The project depicting Janmashtami and Gopal Kala was displayed on 18th August 2022, Lord Krishna in the cradle and people rejoicing on the occasion of Lord Krishna’s birthday were depicted through the project. Tiny tots in the costume of Radha and Krishna danced to the rhythm of music.


Raksha Bandhan & Narali Pournima

According to Hindus, the coconut which is also known as ‘Shrifal’ is offered to the sea god by the fisherfolk. The sea which is violent during monsoons calms down. Project depicting Narali Poornima and Rakshabandhan was displayed on 10th August 2022.

Ashadhi Ekadashi

Ashadhi Ekadashi is one of the most important religious celebrations in Maharashtra.

Project depicting Ashadhi Ekadashi was displayed on 8th July 2022. “Palkhi” festival showcases the distinctive feature of Maharashtra culture. Children dressed as Varkaris” (the devotees of Lord Vitthal) participated in the Mock Dindi procession at our KG premises.


NISARG POOJA

An important ritual to worship nature was celebrated on 29th June 2022. The purpose of this day was to make children aware about the importance of nature like:
• Types of plant.
• Parts of the plant.
• Oxygen is in the air we breathe. All living things need it. Plants make oxygen.
• Plants give us food and shelter.
• Many plants are good to eat.
• Vegetables, fruits, nuts, beans and seeds come from plants

IES BHANDUP KG organized colouring competition for children on 27th June 2022, during the school hours. All the children participated in the competition.


International Yoga Day
21/06/2022

IES BHANDUP KG celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June 2022, to raise awareness about the benefits of Yoga in daily life. Students performed warm up exercises and different asanas under the guidance of teachers.

Nature Walk

Walk around the kindergarten was held on 20th June 2022 for students to acquaint with the school environment. Children were taken to all classrooms, KG office, conference room, playground and surrounding campus etc.
