Our Junior Yogis bent, twisted, and breathed their way to flexibility and fun on Yoga Day! With enthusiasm and energy, they practiced simple yoga poses, learning about balance, coordination, and relaxation techniques. This interactive session helped the young yogis develop their gross motor skills, concentration, and self-awareness, while introducing them to the benefits of yoga for a healthy body and mind.
Our tiny tots got creative with their fine motor skills during the leaf stitching activity! Using colourful threads, toothpick and twigs they carefully stitched artificial leaves, developing their hand-eye coordination and dexterity. This fun activity introduced them to basic sewing concepts and encouraged patience, attention to detail, and self-expression. The tiny tots beamed with pride as they showed off their stitched masterpieces!
Our KG students had a splashing time during their water measuring activity! Using measuring cups, bottles and jugs, they explored and learned about different units of measurement. With curiosity and excitement, they measured and compared the amounts of water, developing their math skills and scientific thinking. It was a fun and engaging way to introduce these young learners to the concept of measurement!
We celebrated Grandparents' Day with immense joy and enthusiasm. This special occasion provided an opportunity for students to express their love and gratitude towards their grandparents.
The program began with a welcome song dance, few more dances were presented which were prepared by students and some speeches. A special PPT was created to show.

Teachers' Day in India is celebrated every year on September 5 to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. This year the students of Std IV handled the classes I to IV, they enjoyed it.
World Sanskrit Day, also known as World Sanskrit Diwas, is celebrated on the Purnima tithi of the Shravan month. It coincides with the festival of Raksha Bandhan. Sanskrit, considered one of the oldest languages and the mother of all languages, originated in India around 3500 years ago. The day is celebrated to promote and honour this ancient language. Importance of the day was shared with the Students. Shloks were recited. Raksha Bandhan was celebrated.
77th Independence Day was celebrated with Great Enthusiasm. Master Ayush Mohite, Highest Mark scorer in SSC Exam 2022-23. (IES Marathi Medium Secondary School, Marol) was the Chief Guest of the programme. The Chief Guest hoisted the Flag. He also guided the students with his speech.
Deepa Pooja, is observed on the Amavasya (No moon) day in Ashada month in Maharashtra and in some parts of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. It is observed to welcome the holy Shravan month.. All the diyas or lamps in house are cleaned on the day. A big rangoli was drawn by the teachers and varieties of Diyas were lit to decorate it.
Ashadhi Ekadashi was celebrated in the school on 28.7.2023. The Dindi led by a decorated palkhi of lord Vitthal and Rukmini went around the school premises. The Warkaris all dressed up.
Guru Pournima is one of the important days and holds a great significance in the Hindu religion. The purpose of the day is to recognise and honour gurus or teachers. Guru Pournima was celebrated on July 3. Importance of the Day was shared with the students. A project was displayed.

School reopens on 15th of June after a long Summer Vacation.
Students were warmly welcomed by the Headmistress - Girija Menon, Supervisor - Mrs Leela devi Joshi And all the teachers and other Staff. The School was decorated. Pencils were distributed to KG section & Std I Students.
Thus the new Academic year starts on a new note.
