Our Junior Yogis bent, twisted, and breathed their way to flexibility and fun on Yoga Day! With enthusiasm and energy, they practiced simple yoga poses, learning about balance, coordination, and relaxation techniques. This interactive session helped the young yogis develop their gross motor skills, concentration, and self-awareness, while introducing them to the benefits of yoga for a healthy body and mind.
Our tiny tots got creative with their fine motor skills during the leaf stitching activity! Using colourful threads, toothpick and twigs they carefully stitched artificial leaves, developing their hand-eye coordination and dexterity. This fun activity introduced them to basic sewing concepts and encouraged patience, attention to detail, and self-expression. The tiny tots beamed with pride as they showed off their stitched masterpieces!
Our KG students had a splashing time during their water measuring activity! Using measuring cups, bottles and jugs, they explored and learned about different units of measurement. With curiosity and excitement, they measured and compared the amounts of water, developing their math skills and scientific thinking. It was a fun and engaging way to introduce these young learners to the concept of measurement!
The Annual Sports Day was held at BMC Ground, Bamandayapada from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. The event featured exciting races like running, potato race, sack race, and skipping race.
The main objectives were to promote physical fitness, teamwork, school spirit, and healthy lifestyle choices. Preparation included event planning, team selection, and safety logistics.
The event successfully improved students’ fitness, encouraged sportsmanship, built community spirit, and identified young athletic talent. Overall, it was a joyful and energetic celebration of sports and well-being.
The Annual Gathering and Prize Distribution Ceremony for the academic year 2024–25 was held on 23rd December 2025 at the B. N. Vaidya Auditorium, Hindu Colony, Dadar. The event took place from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm and was organized by IES English Medium Primary School, Marol.
The event aimed to recognize the achievements of students and teachers, promote school spirit, and showcase the students' talents. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the chief guest, Miss Tanvi Hegde.
The celebration commenced with a warm welcome and an inauguration, followed by prayer and welcome songs. Students then mesmerized the audience with captivating dance and drama performances. The annual report was presented along with a PowerPoint presentation, highlighting the school's achievements throughout the year.
This was followed by the felicitation and introduction of the chief guest. Prizes were distributed to outstanding students and teachers. The chief guest, Miss Tanvi Hegde, delivered an inspiring speech that motivated and encouraged everyone present. The event concluded with a vote of thanks.
The outcomes of the event were highly positive. Achievements were recognized and celebrated, school spirit and bonding among the community were strengthened, and students had the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of peers, teachers, and parents.
The students of Standard First enthusiastically participated in an exciting animal parade activity. The event aimed to foster creativity, confidence, and an appreciation for wildlife among the young learners. Students crafted and decorated animal masks showcasing their artistic skills. Students proudly displayed their creations, marching and dancing through the school corridors. Each student represented a unique animal, from majestic lions and elephants to colorful birds and butterflies. The parade featured a diverse range of animals, promoting awareness about different species and their importance.
The animal parade was a resounding success, providing a fun and engaging learning experience for the students of Standard 1. The activity helped build their confidence, creativity, and appreciation for wildlife, while fostering a sense of community and teamwork.
A day with full of Activities
This morning, students visited our school garden and kitchen garden, where they saw Flower plants of Rose, Lily, Mogra , hibiscus..In the kitchen garden they saw plants of turmeric, curry leaves, chilli and lemon tree. Students also observed a tree of mango, drumstick banana, guava, papaya and ficus tree (peepal tree).
The teacher differentiated between raw bananas and ripe bananas, as students were curious why bananas are green. The teacher also showed them the thorns of the lemon plant. Tr explained the difference between creepers and climbers by showing them.
All students enjoyed visit to Nature.
