Surya Namaskar is a great warm-up for kids, as it stretches the entire body and helps move every joint and major muscle group present. This smooth transition between the poses helps one concentrate and focus and can have a marked effect on the creativity and focus levels of the child. I.E.S GNV has taken the initiative to promote ‘Suryanamskar’ exercise in students every day life and make them mentally, physically and socially fit.
To improve students scholastic and co-scholastic performances I.E.S Ganesh Vidyalaya had organized Annual Gathering on theme ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. We were blessed to have a versatile personality as a chief guest, who is ex-principle of I.E.S Patkar, Mrs. Vandana Nayak. We had successfully completed the programme with an aim of ‘Students all round development’.
Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ. Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. The name Christmas comes from the mass of Christ. A mass service is where Christians remember that Jesus died for us and then comes back to life. I.E.S GNV celebrated this festival in the school with great pomp.

Navratri is considered to be one of the most important festivals of India. It spreads Equality, Unity and festivity. To pursue social and cultural behaviour in student’s life I.E.S Ganesh Nagar Vidyalayahad celebrated Navratri Celebration in school.
To address the cultural and social values as well as to inculcate unity in children behaviour, I.E.S Ganesh Nagar Vidyalay has celebrated Ganesh Festival followed with Satyanarayan Pooja. Our school small wonders enjoyed this programme on virtual platform.
Janmashtami is the day when we celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna. Lord Krishna signifies Ananda (bliss, pure happiness). We express any happiness by celebration. So Janmashtami is celebrating the birth of Lord Krishna. To learn cultural values, our students participated on online Janmashtmi celebrations.
To build students co-scholastic knowledge as well as creativity, our school has organized ‘Rakhi Making Activity’. Students of GNV performed excellently in this activity.
To improve students divergent thinking, school has organized Greeting Card Making Competition. Our students have shown wonderful creativity in this activity.
Independence Day is significant as it commemorates the valour and spirit of the freedom fighters. The day is recognised as that of national pride and honour, with Prime Ministers hoisting the flag and addressing the country from the Red Fort every year. Tiny wonders of our school attended this programme on virtual platform.
Dedicated to Lord Vitthal, this festival of Ashadh Ekadash is also known as Devshayani Ekadashi celebrated by Hindus. To promote students cultural and social values I.E.S Ganesh Nagar Vidyalaya has conducted Ashadhi Ekadashi Celebration on virtual platform.
Guru Purnima is celebrated to honour our teachers, who removes the darkness from our minds. They have a special place in the lives of their followers since ancient times. Our Students showed their gratitude by sharing stories, poem, proverbs about Gurus.
