SCIENCE DAY

On 28^th February Ganesh Nagar vidyalaya organized Science day. It was celebrated in a very grand manner. Students disguised themselves as the important scientist such as IssacNewton, Galileo, HomiBhabha, C. V Raman, Abdul Kalamand gave information about the inventions done by them with the help of the model. Quiz was conducted. The little scientist from Std III performed different small experiments and showed the simple science properties and principles. Scientific attitude is developed among the students

Marathi Bhasha Din

Marathi Divas was celebrated with great zeal in IES Ganesh Nagar Vidyalaya Primary section on 27/02/2023. The main focus of this celebration was to enhance the language of the students. The students actively participated in the celebration by reciting the famous poems and by singing the different forms of the Marathi songs such as Bhakti geet, Balgeet, Bharudand Powadas. The significance of Marathi Diwas was told. An Exhibition was also arranged to showcase the different festivals, the literature work.

REPUBLIC DAY

REPUBLIC DAY was celebrated in our school with great pomp and show, zeal and spirit. The flag was hoisted by the students, Miss Siddhi Dinkar, Mst Himanshu Shewale and Mst Anurag Wayal who bagged scholarship for Std VIII and Std V and also stood first in school. The main attraction was the parade. The students performed on dance, sang patriotic songs and gave speech on freedom fighters, presented a drill. Everyone was feeling very patriotic and happy.

Energy conservation Day is celebrated on to create awareness among the childrenand the importance of energy and the need of conservation energy.

Cleaning Day

In order to inculcate to participate in day to day activities cleaning day observed on Children enjoyed collecting all the rubbish and putting in the dustbin and dusting the walls. This activity given children to learn the sense of responsibility for the environment and dignity of labour.

BIRDS PARADISE

There are many fascinating facts about birds to make aware of these facts. we organized Birds Paradise week, during which children were informed about birds and activity also taken during this period.

Republic Day

Our National Festival Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm on 25.01.2023. To instill within the children, the spirit of Patriotism. Children dressed as soldiers of armed forces added to the Patriotic fervor. A day before Republic day children participated in group activity collage making and colouring to the national symbols etc.

Shape Day

Shape Day was observed on 13.01.2023. The Project depicted the basic shapes and objects related to the shapes.

Makar Sankranti

Makar Sankranti was celebrated on 13.01.2023 Children enjoyed kite flying and Tilgulladus.

CHRISTMAS

This year on 23^rd December, our school has organized a program to celebrate Christmas. The celebration was held in our Assembly hall. In a corner crib was decorated and Christmas tree was decorated. Santaclaus greeted MERRY CHRISTMAS to all the students and all the students danced on the tune of Jingle bell. Delicious Cakes were ralised by the students.

Christmas Celebrations

Christmas festivals was celebrated on Friday 23.12.2022 with great pomp. Project on Christmas was displayed depicting the birth of Jesus. Santa Visited to our section and distributed chocolates to children kids enjoyed yummy cup cake.

Kisan Diwas

National Farmer’s Day was celebrated on 22.12.2022 to commemorate and recognise farmers as the backbone of the country. Children enacted as farmer. Teacher gave information and importance of farmer and to honour relentless efforts of farmer.

Annual Gathering

We had Dr. Pramod Dharma Nandgaonkar well founder of Kala Academy Titwala. Our Chief Guest enthralled by the enthusiasm and talents of children. The Parents were over whelmed to see performances of children.

CHILDREN DAY

Children Day was celebrated at GNV KG with enthusiasm on 14^th Nov. 2022. School was decorated with balloons. On this day children are entertained by the songs children wore new dresses and distributed biscuits and crayons to them.

During food festival students were given activity of preparing sandwich and bhel. Salad decoration was given as an activity.

DIWALI CELEBRATION

For Diwali celebration, different activities were conducted for std I to IV such as Lantern Making, Toran Making, Diva Painting, Fort making activity So that the students will get the happiness of decorating the school with their own articles. They will get the sense of satisfaction. For std V to VII Rangoli Making competition was conducted. Diwali faral was distributed and in a different way Diwali was celebrated with the students.

Navratri Celebration

The celebration started by seeking the blessings from Goddess Durga. Students were told about the importance of Nine days of Navratri. Decoration was done of Warali Painting. On Eighth day the students attired in traditional dresses and added to the festive mood. Students danced on the tune of different garba songs.

COMMUNITY LUNCH

Community Lunch activity was conducted for the students on 19^th of October. Students shared the food with their friends. Sharing a meal is an excellent way for the students to feel a sense of community. The students came to know about other students culture.

VACHAN PRERNA DIN (READING DAY)

On 15^th october 2022, Vachan Prerana Din was celebrated in the memory of our Late former Presidnet, ‘A. P. J. Abdul Kalam on his birthday. Students were encouraged to read the different books apart from the Text books. Importance of Reading was emphasized by the teacher.

Ganesh Festivals

Ganeshotsav is a spectacular festival honoring the lord Ganesha like every year, this year also Ganeshotsav was celebrated in IES GNV Titwala with great enthusiasm on 29.08.2022. Ganapti was brought in Procession with the slogan said by everyone ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’.

GANESH FESTIVAL

Students of IES Ganeshnagar Vidyalaya celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi and SatyaNarayan Pooja with great pomp and festivity on 29^th August 2022. Colourful Rangolis, Blackboard decorations was done. Simple and Eco friendly decoration was done. Different Ganesh idols made by Students were exhibited.

This year’s celebration was very much awaited by the students after the pandemic. The students participated in the processions and played the traditional Dhol-Tasha and lezim. With great pomp and zeal festival was enjoyed by the students. During darshan the students recited Ganpati Atharvashirsha, Shlokas and seeked blessings from Bappa. Prasad was distributed to students.

POLA

Pola and Matrudin was celebrated on 26^th August. The festival falls on the Pithori Amavasya i.e New Moon day of August month. The teachers explained the importance of the festival. As India is an agricultural country so bullocks are given importance, students realized the reason of celebrating this festival.

KRISHNA JANMASHTAMI

Krishna Janmashtami, the birthday of Lord Krishna was celebrated on 19^th August 2022 with enthusiasm. Children were dressed as Krishna and Radha. Stories commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna were enjoyed by children on DLP projector. Teachers explained the importance of celebrating "Janmashtami".

Dahihandi or Gopalkala is an entertainment event associated with Janmashtami. During this event, we hanged clay pot with yoghurt at convenient height. Our peon & the team break the clay pot and our teachers & students surround them with singing song, playing music and cheer to them. This event brought awareness among children about tradition and customs. Krishna always be with us and bless everyone said Incharge Mrs. Minal Attarde madam through her speech.

Gopalkala Children were dressed like Radha and Krishna. Information was given to the children through PPT and Project.

Independace Day

Azadi ka AmritMahotsav :- 75^th Anniversary of Indian Independence was an event our school joined the “Har Ghar Tiranga” movement by hoisting and displaying national flag in school and in homes our school was taken rally around Titwala with the slogan “Har Ghar Tiranga” to mark 75^th year of Independence to inspire everyone to work for the nation

RALLY- AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV

A rally was organized in the school on the occasion of the "Azadi ka Amrutmahotsav" on 12^th August 2022. The purpose of the rally is that, we Indians will once again turn the pages of our history and know in detail about all the important events, movements and great revolutionaries during the freedom struggle. All the students of std VII and teachers took active part in the rally with great enthusiasm. All students marched out in perfect formation carrying posters, flags and banners. The leading students shouted slogans and the rest repeated after them in unison. The rally was organised in our school with a great joy.

Narli Pournima and Rakshabandhan

NarliPournima was celebrated on 10.08.2022 in the class by tying Rakhi to each other project was displayed.

NARALI POORNIMA AND RAKSHABANDAN

Rakhi stands for the celebration of emotions and is also known as Raksha Bandhan the knot of protection.

Lord Varuna is offered Coconuts. On this day, coconuts are thrown into the sea as a ritual.

Here, the festival of Rakhi is known as Nariyal Purnima, and it is also marks the beginning of the fishing season..

It was celebrated in school with zeal and enthusiasm. Project was displayed for children. Naralvali sweet was distributed to students and importance of festival was told to students.

NAGPANCHAMI

Our Indian culture teaches us to worship the god, human begins and also to the animal, world and plants. So we worship the snakes at "Nagpanchami". In our history bhagwan Krishna killed the snake named "Kalia" and protected Gokul Nagari, that day was Shravan Shuddha Panchamiie. Nagpanchami. From that day people worship the snakes and gives him Milk.

DeepaPuja

Decorative lamps were displayed on 28.07.2022 children chanted shloka related to Deepa Puja.

Children brought Clay Diya and decorated with water colours, beads and other sticking material.

DEEPA POOJA

Deep Puja is said to help appease Agni Devta - who is known to be at the highest seat of worship. Deep Amavasya is also commemorated as Aadi Amavasai in Tamil Nadu, Divaso in Gujarat, Hariyali Amavasya in North India, Chitalagi Amavasai in Odisha. To inculcate social and cultural values in students behaviour IES Ganesh Nagar vidyalaya has arranged celebration of Deep Puja in school premises, there students had put outstanding efforts.

Guru Pournima

Guru Purnima is celebrated to honour our teachers, who remove the darkness from our minds. They have a special place in the lives of their followers since ancient times. All the holy books of Hinduism dictate the importance of Gurus and the extraordinary bond between a Guru and his Shishya.

To maintain the dignity of Guru shishya parampara, our school has organised inspirational celebration.

Guru Pournima

On Wednesday 13.7.2022 Guru pournima was celebrated. A beautiful project was displayed in corridor and the values and importance of a guru was explained to the children through slide show and project.

Ashadi Ekadashi

On Friday 8.7.2022, Dindi was taken by the children of IES GNV, Titwala to celebrate Ashadi Ekadashi. Little Varkaris clad in traditional dhoti kurtas, turban and girls in nine yard sarees, to worship the Holy Diety Lord Vitthal. The whole school campus resounded with chants “Vitthal Vitthal Jai HariVitthal".

Orientation

A meeting of parents was organized on Saturday 2.7.2022 with a view to get to know one another. It was an enriching experience for most of the parent’s. They also shared their experience and gratitude for having given opportunity to express their heart content.

Father’s Day Celebrations 2022

It was a memorable day to all the father’s who gathered at IES GNV, to express their love to their kids on Thursday 30.6.2022. As a token of love a key holder was presented to their respective father, prepared by their child. Father’s enjoyed fun games with their children.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY 2022

On 21^st June International Yoga Day was celebrated in IES Ganesh Nagar Vidyalaya. Students from Std. 5^th to 7^th performed various Yagasanas such as Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Pashchimottasan, Vajrasana and Surynamaskar. Teachers too participated in the activity.

Students were explained the importance of Yogasanas for physical and mental balance of life.
