Our KG students enthusiastically participated in a fun collage activity. They pasted colourful paper pieces to create beautiful artwork. This activity helped improve their fine motor skills, hand- eye coordination, creativity, and concentration. The children enjoyed expressing their imagination while learning through play.

IES Ganesh Nagar Vidyalaya, Titwala (E) celebrated Vat Purnima in a innovative way by organizing a Tree Plantation Activity for students. The children enthusiastically planted saplings and small pants and learned the importance of protecting nature and preserving the environment. The activity encouraged environmental awareness while connecting students with the cultural significance of the festival.
On 11th July 2026, the students of Std. VIII enthusiastically participated in the Craft Making Competition, showcasing their creativity, imagination, and artistic skills.
The competition helped enhance their fine motor skills, patience, and ability to work with different colours and materials.
Like every year this year too IES Ganesh Nagar Vidyalaya, Titwala (E) successfully conducted the Student Council Election with great enthusiasm and democratic spirit.

“Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” Tree Plantation Activity
IES Ganesh Nagar Vidyalaya Secondary School, Titwala (E), organized a tree plantation activity under the theme “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”. Students of Std VIII enthusiastically participated in planting saplings along with teachers, promoting the message of environmental conservation. The activity aimed to create awareness about the importance of trees and inspire students to contribute towards a greener and healthier future. Through this initiative, students learned the values of responsibility, care for nature, and sustainable living. The programme was conducted successfully with great enthusiasm and active participation from all.
IES Ganesh Nagar Vidyalaya School enthusiastically celebrated 22nd June 2026 International Yoga Day with the active participation of KG students. The children performed simple yoga asanas and breathing exercises with enthusiasm. The event concluded with a message encouraging everyone to make yoga a regular part of their daily routine for a healthier and happier life.
International Yoga Day 2026 was celebrated in IES Ganesh Nagar Vidyalaya Titwala on Saturday, 21st June 2026 with a lot of enthusiasm. A well organised Programme by Yog Teachers from ‘Yog Vidya Dham’, for the entire day in which students from std Vlll to X performed Yogaasanas under the guidance of of secondary section Teachers in the backyard of the school.
Simultaneously some informative, health related talk was too going on, on the importance of Yog in our daily routine to lead a healthy life.
Secondary Teachers too performed some asanaas along with the children and the entire staff was in white attire to symbolise the importance of Yog on International Yoga Day.
Secondary Incharge Dr.Priya Chachad Madam remarked that, “Yog is not just about physical exercise, but it teaches us to remain silent, stay calm, and be focused on our lives “.
IES Ganesh Nagar Vidyalaya (Secondary Section) organized aninspiring 1.5-hours event titled “Torch Bearers: Inspire to Aspire,”aimed at passing the flame of knowledge from the previous 10th standard stellar achievers to the contemporary 10th standard batch.

The event commenced with a warm welcome to the Chief Guest, Mrs. Sangita Sonawane Madam a revered personality from IES. who recently got retired ( Maths & Science teacher), followed by the auspicious Lighting of the Lamp by the Secondary Section In-charge Dr. Priya Chachad Madam and Mrs Sangita Sonawane Madam to express deep love and gratitude, a memento was presented to Sangita Madam, and the star ex-students were felicitated for their outstanding board percentages. The significant highlight was an interactive session where the seniors shared invaluable study formulae, their experiences and motivational insights with their juniors. The gathering was then motivated by the words of wisdom from Chief Guest Sangita Madam and Priya Madam, who urged the students that, “ The same Outstanding results are expected from the contemporary 10th std batch to carry forward the school’slegacy”. Student elections play an important role in promoting democratic values in schools by developing leadership qualities, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility among students.
To provide students with a practical understanding of democracy and the functioning of the election process, IES Ganesh Nagar Vidyalaya Secondary Section decided to conduct elections for the Head Boy and Head Girl on Thursday, 18th June 2026. Campaigning for the same was done by the students of Std X, on the previous day, Fair and unbiased elections were conducted maintaining complete transparency. At the entrance the name of the voter-students were called out and verified. Then they were marked with black ink on their index finger and were allowed to cast their votes. The day after counting was done in front of the contestants, declaring the results at the same time.
