The segregation of pulses activity is an engaging hands-on activity that helps kindergarten children develop their fine motor skills, concentration, hand-eye coordination, and observation skills. The activity also improves their sensory awareness and patience while making learning fun and interactive. It encourages children to work independently and builds confidence.
This activity helps KG children improve their hand and finger movements through scooping, pouring, and mixing. It introduces them to healthy foods like corn. This activity helps KG children strengthen their small hand muscles by squeezing lemons and stirring. They enjoy exploring the sour taste, fresh smell, and texture of lemon. It introduces them to healthy and refreshing drinks. Pouring and mixing help improve hand-eye coordination. Children also learn to do simple tasks on their own, while working together and sharing ingredients helps develop sharing, teamwork, and cooperation.

The Independence Day celebration was organised with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at IES Ganesh Nagar Vidyalaya on 15 August. The programme commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the National Anthem.
The students presented a variety of patriotic performances, including speeches, songs and cultural presentations that highlighted the significance of Independence Day and the sacrifices of our freedom fighters.
The Chief Guest, Ms. Unnati Sharma, SSC Topper, addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech. Her words motivated the students to work hard, stay focused and strive for excellence in their academic and personal lives.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks. The celebration was a memorable and inspiring experience for everyone, filling the atmosphere with pride, patriotism and love for our nation.
On 14th August 2026, a seminar on “Snakes and Misunderstandings” was organized in the Activity Room for the students of Class 8 on the occasion of Nag Panchami. Mr. Akshay Chaugule Sir conducted the informative session, explaining the evolution, classification, ecological importance, and cultural significance of snakes. He also discussed common myths, snakebite prevention, safety measures, and correct first-aid practices. The interactive seminar helped students develop scientific awareness, respect for wildlife, and a better understanding of snakes.
Deep Puja 2026 was celebrated with the theme “Tratak: The Flame of Focus – Illuminating the Mind.” Students participated in a meaningful diya-lighting and Tratak activity aimed at developing focus, concentration, calmness, and mindfulness. The activity created a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere while encouraging students to understand the importance of mental well-being and inner clarity.
Deepa Puja was celebrated on 12 August with great devotion and enthusiasm. Students and teachers participated in the celebration and offered prayers, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere in the school and helped students to understand the value of our rich cultural traditions.

Guru Pornima was celebrated in our school to honour and thank our teachers. A speech on the significance of Guru Pornima and a beautiful song were presented by the students. A Greeting Card Making Competition was organised for the students of Class VIII. The celebration ended with a message of gratitude, respect, and the importance of the teacher–student relationship.
Our school celebrated Guru Pournima activity with great enthusiasm and respect on 29 July 2026 (Wednesday). The programme began with a prayer, followed by a speech highlighting the importance of teachers in our lives. Std IV Students presented a melodious group song, followed by an inspiring speech expressing gratitude towards their teachers. A meaningful skit of Guru Dronacharya and his pupils was showcased the value of a teacher's guidance and the importance of respecting our gurus. The celebration concluded with a colourful dance performance, which added joy and excitement to the event. IES Ganesh Nagar Vidyalaya, Titwala (E) celebrated Vat Purnima in a innovative way by organizing a Tree Plantation Activity for students. The children enthusiastically planted saplings and small pants and learned the importance of protecting nature and preserving the environment. The activity encouraged environmental awareness while connecting students with the cultural significance of the festival.
On 11th July 2026, the students of Std. VIII enthusiastically participated in the Craft Making Competition, showcasing their creativity, imagination, and artistic skills.
The competition helped enhance their fine motor skills, patience, and ability to work with different colours and materials.
A Waste Management Guidance Lecture was conducted on 5th July. The session was led by Mr. Bharat Patil (Sanitary Inspector), Mr. Sudarshan Jadhav (Sanitary Inspector), Mr. Sunny Karade (Sanitation Officer), and Mr. Akshay Karade (Sanitation Officer).
The officers guided the students on the importance of waste management, cleanliness, and proper waste segregation. The session was interactive, and students actively asked questions. The officers patiently answered all their queries and clarified their doubts, making the lecture informative and engaging.
Like every year this year too IES Ganesh Nagar Vidyalaya, Titwala (E) successfully conducted the Student Council Election with great enthusiasm and democratic spirit.

International Yoga Day 2026 was celebrated in IES Ganesh Nagar Vidyalaya Titwala on Saturday, 21st June 2026 with a lot of enthusiasm. A well organised Programme by Yog Teachers from ‘Yog Vidya Dham’, for the entire day in which students from std Vlll to X performed Yogaasanas under the guidance of of secondary section Teachers in the backyard of the school.
Simultaneously some informative, health related talk was too going on, on the importance of Yog in our daily routine to lead a healthy life.
Secondary Teachers too performed some asanaas along with the children and the entire staff was in white attire to symbolise the importance of Yog on International Yoga Day.

Student elections play an important role in promoting democratic values in schools by developing leadership qualities, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility among students.
To provide students with a practical understanding of democracy and the functioning of the election process, IES Ganesh Nagar Vidyalaya Secondary Section decided to conduct elections for the Head Boy and Head Girl on Thursday, 18th June 2026. Campaigning for the same was done by the students of Std X, on the previous day, Fair and unbiased elections were conducted maintaining complete transparency. At the entrance the name of the voter-students were called out and verified. Then they were marked with black ink on their index finger and were allowed to cast their votes. The day after counting was done in front of the contestants, declaring the results at the same time.
