An awareness program on ‘Nutrition’ was conducted in IES CPVKG, on 31st August 2018 in significance of the Mother’s Day. The audience comprised of mothers and teachers. Ms. Swapnali Sachin Ghadi, Dietician and Counsellor presided over the function and conducted an hour’s session on the topic.
The project depicting Janmashtami and Gopal Kala was displayed on 30 th August 2018. Lord Krishna in the cradle and people rejoicing on the occasion of Lord Krishna’s birthday were depicted through the project. Tiny tots in the costume of Radha and Krishna danced to the rhythm of music.
According to Hindus, the coconut which is also known as ‘Shrifal’ is offered to the sea god by the fisherfolk. The sea which is violent during monsoons calms down.
Project depicting Narali Poornima and Rakshabandhan was displayed on 24th August 2018.
IES CPV celebrated Independence day on 15th August 2018 with great pomp and enthusiasm. On this occasion KG children presented a patriotic song.
Strong bonding of brother and sister is encouraged by celebrating Raksha Bandhan festival. Students from Std. 1st to 4th tied rakhis and naral wadi was the sweet for the day.
On 21st June, 2018 International Yoga Day was celebrated in our campus. Students of English / Marathi Med. Primary and Marathi Med. Secondary participated. Various asanas were performed like Vajrasana, Tadasana, Vrukshasana, Trikonasana.
The School celebrated Independence with all enthusiasm by singing national anthem, few melodious national songs and eloquent speeches.
Our National flag was hoisted by our SSC School Topper of the year Ms. Shrutika Mahajan.
