Enact birds activity was conducted on 5th February 2024. Children had come with masks, headgears and wings for the activity. Children were taken to the ground to enact like birds. Children learnt and enjoyed the day.
The Field Trip was taken to the Fire Station on 22 February 2024. They demonstrated various activities for the children. They also explained how to help the people in case of fire.
We celebrated Market Day on 30th January 2024. Different types of vegetables and fruits were displayed. Children were dressed up as vegetable vendors and the concept of kilograms and other weights were explained to the children. Children enjoyed songs about vegetables. Advantages of eating vegetables and fruits were explained to them.
Our staff and parents visited the market and encouraged our tiny vegetable vendors. "EAT MORE VEGETABLES AND FRUITS AND BE HEALTHY", was the message given to the children.
Aashadhi Ekadashi a religious festival was celebrated on 28th June 2023. Children dressed up as lord Vitthoba, Rukmini & warkaries & participated in Dindi, singing & dancing in praise of Lord Vitthoba. ‘Vitthal Vitthal Jay Hari Vitthal’ was heard everywhere from Mulund campus. Teachers shared information about this auspicious festival. ‘These types of celebrations bring awareness about our traditions and also inculcate values in children. They enjoyed singing aarti of Lord Vitthal. A beautiful project was displayed.
Common tiffin was observed on the same day. Children brought boiled potatoes in the tiffin. Root vegetables were explained to them. Teachers explained the tiny tots regarding their colours, taste & their usage. Children enjoyed the common tiffin.
Students of Std III exhibited their own hand made robots using waste material. They also explained the purpose of their robots, material used for making it. It was a very creative activity enabling the students to display their innovative ideas.
An educational field trip to Gawanpada Fire Brigade Station was organized on 22nd February 2024. The officer in charge explained the importance of safety. He also gave students the emergency number 101 in case of emergencies. A demonstration on how to extinguish fire by spraying water was presented. The officer also showed all the equipment used by them and explained their usage. Overall it was a very enriching & joyful experience for everyone.
Shiv Jayanti was celebrated with great reverence and pomp. Std IV students presented a musical skit demonstrating the life journey of Shivaji Maharaj right from his birth to his emergence as a great king. They also presented a powada in a musical skit form based on Afzalkhan’s and Shivaji’s Meet. The performances of the students were applauded by everyone
Annual sports were held on 1st & 2nd February 2024 for Std I, II & Std III, IV respectively. Events for Std I and II were running race & frog jump whereas for Std III & IV were running race and ball balancing on ring race. Winners were felicitated with trophies and medals on the very same day of events.
To bring about the awareness among the girls of std V to VIII (Eng. & Mar Medium) about the good touch and bad touch, safety measures and Personal defence, a guidance giving lecture was conducted by police station staff members by Mr. Mahadik & Mr. More Rajendra (Confidential Police Officers) & Mrs. Saika Yadav, Mrs. Pratiksha Jadhav. (Lady Head constables)
On 21st June 2019, on account of International Yoga Day, to increase the awareness about physical & mental fitness, students were made to participate and perform various ‘ Yoga Asanas’. It was brought into effect with the help of Ambika Kutir Yoga Shibir Organisation.
