GMGES2024 Gen Z Pitch Competition

2024-25

Give them wings, they shall fly
Be the wind beneath their wings and they shall soar higher!

This is the story of our successful venture of creating conducive environment for school kids to probe, explore, research and ideate.

Garje Marathi Global Foundation in collaboration with Dr. Sucheta Pawar from IES MCRC encouraged our Std VII & VIII students to explore beyond the realms of their classrooms and search for problems in our society for which they had to find practical solutions.

These ideas were brought to life after rigorous sessions of workshops and interactions with field experts. They were then sent for the GMGES2024 Gen Z Pitch Competition held in US, where our students participated online and explained their products. The competition showcased an impressive array of innovative ideas and entrepreneurial spirit from talented global Gen Z participants who were mostly from high school and college.

Both the teams from Manik Vidyamandir- Sanitease Solutions & Nutricheck were well appreciated by the jury and SANITEASE SOLUTIONS bagged the 2nd prize!

SANITEASE SOLUTIONS	Akshaj Naini (Std VII) Shardul Gupte (Std VII) Swasti Gada (Std VII)	They made an electronic supervisor for public toilets which will measure footfall and level of poisonous gases generated in public toilets and send alert to toilet cleaning team.
NUTRICHECK	Abhang Ghanekar (Std VII) Rishaan Amonkar (Std VII) Atharva Pawar (Std VIII)	They built an app which scans content chart of any food packet and provides nutritional analysis, also the impact of the contents on people’s health who will consume that food

SANSKRUTIK KALA DARPAN COMPETITION

Sanskrutik Kala Darpan Competition was held at Shardashram Vidyamandir, Dadar (West). The winners are as follows:

Kashvi 2^nd in Dance and Consolation in Elocution

Reyaansh 2^nd in Elocution

Erisha 2^nd in Singing

Saanvi 1^st in Fancy dress

Inter IES Chess Tournament

27^thJuly 2024

Inter IES Chess competition was conducted on the 27th of July 2024 at RSV Campus Dadar East from 8 am to 6 pm.

Asmi Edlabadkar from VI Daisy secured the Third position in the Girls Group 2 category.

Sara Bhogale from grade X secured the fifth position in the Girls Group 3 category.
