A Deep (i.e.)lamp is a symbol of knowledge. Moreover, one lamp of knowledge can light thousands of lamps. On Aashaadha Amavasya, all the lamps in the house are worshipped by offering aaras. On 17.07.2023, for Deep Pooja project different types of diyas were displayed with floral decoration. Children brought diyas from home which was displayed in the classrooms on a table with rangoli designs. Then teacher lit the diyas wherein children stood around the lit diyas and performed puja by saying the deep prayer.

Childrens’ action songs develop fine and gross motor skills. These movements encourage children use their fingers, hands and bodies for movements. So to enhance childrens Langage skills, confidence and eye-hand co-ordination an action song competition was conducted on 11.07.2023. In the first round all the children enthusiastically participated and few were selected for the final round. On 13.07.2023, the final round was held from which the winners of the Action song competition were announced.

‘Guru’ means a remover of darkness; while ‘purnima’ refers to the full moon night on which it falls. On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, disciples conduct pujas to attain the blessings of their Gurus or teachers. It is also known as Vyasa Purnima. In CPV. Kindergarten, on 03.07.2023, it was celebrated by displaying project of Gurukul. Teachers gave informative talk about the ancient and present education system. Children offered flowers to their teachers to show their respect and honour for them.
