Each child contributed by bringing items such as boiled potatoes, onions, chopped coriander and other necessary ingredients. During the activity all the ingredients were collected and mixed together in large bowl. Chaat masala and lemon were added to enhance the taste.
Overall, the activity was fun filled and helped in developing cooperation, participation and basic culinary skills among the students.

A safety awareness session was conducted for the students to educate them about important safety measures. The teacher provides information through a power point presentation on various topics such as safety at home, safety on the road and safety from strangers.
Special emphasis was given to good touch and bad touch to help children understand personal safety and develop awareness about inappropriate behaviour. The session was interactive and informative ensuring that students could easily understand and apply these safety rules in their daily lives.
One of our parent Smt. Kranti Patil a police Inspector visited the school and guided the students on how to stay safe from strangers. Her valuable insights and real-life examples made the session more effective and meaningful for the children.

In IES. CPV. KG., the birthday of the great warrior was celebrated on 18.02.2026. In the activity room the children of kindergarten assembled and teachers gave informative talk about Shivaji Maharaj to instill values of bravery and independence. Few kids dressed as Shivaji Maharaj and mavlas spoke about the great king. Children from Marathi medium came dressed in Shivaji’s Ashta Pradhan Mandal and spoke about their duties in the Shivaji Raje’s administration.

A methi sorting activity was conducted for the KG section. Children were encouraged to sort them carefully. To enhance the children’s hand eye co-ordination and finger development. This activity helped in improving their fine motor skills, concentration and coordination in fun and engaging manner. On the following day, the children were given methi puri in their tiffin to enjoy and encouraging appreciation for healthy eating habits.

Games play an important role in the development of kids, be it outdoor or indoor. Games & extra curriculum activities have good impact on kids for overall well-being. Two classrooms with indoor games were displayed such as ball throwing games, throwing rings and fishing game etc., which will help in hand-eye coordination in kids. Games such as Hopscotch, puzzles, block building were also enjoyed by children as it increases child’s thinking ability, concentration & focus. Doll house with toy utensils and many fun games were kept to make kids more creative as they need to do the different task for each activity. As return gift of the day, children were given a crayon box to carry home

Story telling competition was organized for all classes. Children were told to narrate the stories based on animals but out of syllabus. Best story tellers from each class were declared.

An Annual Sport was conducted on 09.02.2026, for Mini. KG, Jr. KG classes and Motha Shishu and on 10.02.2026, for Sr. KG. classes and Balwarg. Participation in sports day activities like running exercises assist children to develop their general physical coordination, agility, gross motor abilities and sportsmanship.
On 9th February 2026 the events were running and tricycle racing and 10th February 2026 the events were running and balancing the book. All children enthusiastically participated in the sports and medals were given to the prize winners. Our Headmistress Mrs Sumedha Nawathe Madam also encouraged teaching, non teaching staff and parents to participate in sports. Lemon and Spoon and Braid, Tie and Run like this funny games were enjoyed by all.

Community helpers are citizens who work to ensure the well-being of the community. They perform their duties to ensure that people in society stay happy, safe, and healthy. So, a Community Helper Day was conducted on 2nd to 5th February 2026, to help children understand the roles of people in our society. Few selected kids came dressed as community helpers and spoke about their role as community workers. Students were also educated about showing respect for their contributions.

Our school celebrated Children’s Day with fun activities and a special programme by the teachers. Students enjoyed games, songs, and a cheerful atmosphere. The day highlighted joy, creativity, and the importance of children in our school community.
