In CPV. K.G., the celebration of victory of light over darkness. i.e. Diwali was celebrated for 3 days, i.e. on 15th, 16th and 17th of October, 2025. Diwali is the most important Hindu festival and it is also referred to as the festival of lights.
On 15th October, 2025, children enjoyed Diwali activities such as colouring lanterns, rangoli
On 16th October 2025 the children were instructed to bring lanterns and decorative Diwali items to decorate the classrooms and the corridors.
On 17th October 2025 children enjoyed the Diwali party. Children had bought handful of petals of different flowers for rangoli activity.

Fancy Dress competition was organized and topics were given birds for SR KG and wild animals for JR KG . A fancy dress competition not only blends learning with fun but also develops confidence in children. Appreciation and compliments make it an enjoyable and positive experience for every child.

To create a festive atmosphere, CPV. KG., tiny tots came in colorful traditional attire. Children brought flowers to offer Maa Durga and Maa Saraswati. To decorate the classroom, children made toran of marigold flowers and mango leaves. Children also sang aarti, danced on bhondla songs and enjoyed the garba.

2024-25
Students were encouraged to make a Diwali Fort at their home/building during Diwali vacation. Students created beautiful clay and cardboard forts. They worked in teams, showcased creativity, and learned about the tradition behind fort making.
