Krishna is the Hindu god of compassion, protection and love. Lord Krishna's birthday is celebrated as Janmashtami. In IES. CPV., Gopal Kala was celebrated on 26.08.2024, with great devotion and reverence. The tiny tots of Kinder Garten were looking very colourful dressed as Krishna and Radha. A project on Krishna janmasthami and gopal kala was displayed. Children enthusiastically gathered in the assembly room and danced to the tune of garba and dahi handi music. Later the dahi handi pot was hit by one of the little Kanna which was the main highlight of the day. Sweets were distributed as prasad.
Mangalagaur celebration was organised on 20.08.2024. The children came in attractive traditional attire which added beauty to the celebration. Children sang arti for Goddess Annapurna which followed by the ritualistic dance forms like jhimma, fugadi etc...

The Shravan feast was observed from 20.08.2024 to 23.08.2024. Children were asked to bring mouthwatering festive dishes in their tiffin. According to the time table given for each day, children enjoyed eating the festive dishes like sheera, modak, gulab jamun, puran poli during the lunch break.
Puppets are very effective aids for fostering cooperation, enhancing creativity and improving communication skills. A puppet show on farm animals was organized on It was an interactive show with fun dialogues wherein children enjoyed observing, listening and clapping to the music

The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great joy in our IES.CPV, on 14.08.2024. KG was decorated with festoons of flag colours. Through project display, teacher briefed about Independence Day celebration. The young minds from Kindergarten came in different freedom fighters attire and confidently spoke few sentences about the leaders.

To commemorate this festival, a Rakhi making activity was organized for the Kindergarten tiny tots on 13.08.2024. Under the guidance of teachers, children enjoyed making rakhi by the materials provided by the school.
The Raksha Bandhan festival was celebrated with great zeal and endeavor on 13th August 2024. The project on Raksha Bandhan and Narli Poornima was displayed. Through project display, children were made aware of the deepest love and affection between a brother and sister and also the importance of Narli Poornima for the fisherman family. Children in traditional and colourful attires enthusiastically participated in tying the rakhi on the wrist of their classmates.

On 09.08.2024, a project on Nag Panchami was displayed. Girls from KG section applied mehandi on their hands on the eve of Nag Panchami. Teacher explained the importance of snakes to the farmers by showing the project

In IES.CPV. KG., the most awaited Monsoon Dhamaka was celebrated from 05.08.2024 to 09.08.2024. Each day children were enlightened about the rainy season, the water cycle, rainy creatures, flowers & fruits available during the season. Teachers also displayed the cutouts of rain wears, rainy creatures, fruits in the classroom accordingly. Children were overjoyed to wear the headgears of different rainy creatures and enacting like them. All together children had a great fun during the week.
A Deep (i.e.) lamp is a symbol of knowledge. Moreover, one lamp of knowledge can light thousands of lamps. On Aashaadha Amavasya, all the lamps in the house are worshipped by offering aaras. In Deep Pooja project different types of diyas were displayed with floral decoration. Children brought diyas from home which were displayed in the classrooms on a table with rangoli designs. Then teacher lit the diyas wherein children stood around the lit diyas and performed puja by saying the deep prayer.

‘Tilak’s death anniversary is observed on 1st August every year. The photo of Lokmanya Tilaks was displayed and teacher gave informative talk about this great nationalist. In IES.CPV, the tiny tots of Kindergarten enthusiastically came in Tilak’s attire. They spoke few sentences about this great leader and also expressed his famous slogan” Freedom is my birthright and I shall have it”.
