In IES CPV KG., the birthday of the great warrior was celebrated on 18.02.2025. In the activity room the children of kindergarten assembled and teachers gave informative talk about Shivaji Maharaj to instill values of bravery and independence. Few kids dressed as Shivaji maharaj and mavlas spoke about the great king. Children from Marathi medium came dressed in Shivaji’s Asta Pradhan Mandal and spoke about their duties in the Shivaji Raje’s administration.

Games play an important role in the development of kids, be it outdoor or indoor. Games & extra curriculum activities have good impact on kids for overall well-being. Two classrooms with indoor games were displayed such as ball throwing games, throwing rings and fishing game etc., which will help in hand-eye coordination in kids. Games such as Hopscotch, puzzles, block building also children enjoyed as it increases child’s thinking ability, concentration & focus. Doll house with toy utensils and many fun games were kept to make kids more creative as they need to do the different task for each activity. As return gift of the day, children were given a crayon box to carry home. Our Principal Sumedha madam has bought a special customized game of Snake and Ladder on the emotions, good and bad habits was displayed and children enjoyed to play on it.

Pea shelling is an excellent sensorial activity that improves hand-eye coordination and concentration of young ones. Teachers showed the children how to peel the peas, and then they were allowed to peel on their own. The little ones were excited and enthusiastically took part in the activity and later they were educated the value of cleanliness by throwing all the waste in the dustbin. Next day children were served with yummy mutter upma which they relished a lot.

Community helpers are citizens who work to ensure the well-being of the community. They perform their duties to ensure that people in society stay happy, safe, and healthy. So, a Community Helper day was conducted on 12.02.25, to helps children understand the roles of people in our society. Few selected kids came dressed as community helpers and spoke about their role as community workers. Students were also educated about showing respect for their contributions.

When children interact with BIRDS, they build the all-important senses of connection, empathy and caring. A special day on “WORLD OF BIRDS” was set up for kindergarten kids on 04.02.2025. The objective of conducting this day was to spread awareness on the importance of taking care of animals and birds to instill in the little minds not to hurt animals. The activity room was decorated with different types of birds. Children dressed in birds costume participated enthusiastically and went back with lovely, happy smiling face. Children were showed how to make bird feeder with the help of their parents.
