Diwali is the most important Hindu festival and it is also referred to as the festival of lights. In CPV. KG. the celebration of the victory of light over darkness (i.e.) Diwali was celebrated on 23.10.2024. The classrooms were decorated with colourful lanterns. Children came in vibrant party attire to brighten the ambience of the classroom. The joy added when children made rangoli outside the classroom using colourful flower petals. Teacher gave informative talk about the festival through PPT and video songs. Children wished each other “HAPPY DIWALI” and enjoyed Yummy Diwali Faral.

Social skills for kids are important because they help children build and maintain positive relationship with others. To help children improve their social skills a community healthy food week was organized from 15.10.2024 to 17.10.2024.
According to the time table mentioned in the monthly programme children brought and prepared fruit salad, vegetable salad, sprout usal, sukhi bhel etc.

To create a festive atmosphere, CPV. KG., tiny tots came in colourful traditional attire. Children brought flowers to offer Maa Durga and Maa Saraswati. To decorate the classroom, children made toran of marigold flowers and mango leaves. Children also sang aarti and later danced to the tune of garba and dandiya.

Flowers come in various shapes, colour and fragrances. Flower Day was organized for children wherein they brought colourful flowers with fragrance and without fragrance. On this special day, children were given hands on experience to smell and feel different flowers. Later the flowers were used to make rangoli.

The two great leaders Lal Bahadur Shastriji and Gandhi’s birthday is on 2nd of October Due to holiday on this day, Jayanti was celebrated on 1st October 2024. The kindergarten tiny tots dressed as Shastriji and Gandhiji, assembled in the activity room. Our Principal ma’am offered garland to the photos of these great leaders. Children spoke enthusiastically about these leaders.
