National Science Day, was celebrated in school on 28th February 2022. The theme for the day was, ‘Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future’. Various activities were conducted like drawing, rangoli making and essay writing. Students got an insight of the importance of the day through a short video which was shown in the class.

On Friday 25th February, 2022. IES Manik Vidyamandir celebrated online Marathi Diwas on MSTeams. Video included Marathi Diwas Introduction & Labhale aamhas bhagya song. Various activities related to Marathi Diwas were sent in Google classroom for the students.

Annual Exhibition was held on 20th February 2022. Every year we decide a theme for all our events, this year’s theme was, ‘’The skill to heal, the spirit to care’ ’On this note we had chosen health related topics for all the subjects. The students overwhelming participated in the exhibition.

Annual Exhibition was held on 20th February 2022. Our students showcased their innovative skills in music, art, languages, math & science, social studies, computers etc. during our annual exhibition. Since last year due to the pandemic, we are conducting it online with a good response from students. Every year we decide a theme for all our events, this year’s theme was, ‘’The skill to heal, the spirit to care’’.
On this note we had chosen health related topics for all the subjects. Our objectives behind the theme are as follows:
1. Promoting healthy lifestyle
2. To discuss how healthy and unhealthy lifestyle can affect their health
3. Enable them to understand the importance of nutrition, physical activities and stress management.

Students of Standard I to X celebrated Shivaji Jayanti – Birth Anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on 18th February, 2022 as 19th February, 2022 was observed as a bank holiday. It was celebrated by the live streaming of short video after the prayers. Students got an insight of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s valuable contribution to our country.

Students and teachers of Std VI to IX celebrated Shivaji Jayanti – Birth Anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on 18th February, 2022 i.e., Friday as 19th February, 2022 was a bank holiday. A short video was shown to the students after the prayers. Students got an insight of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s valuable contribution to our country.

Marathi Inter School Competition was organized by Manik Vidyamandir on Saturday 12th February, 2022 on Microsoft Team from 3.00 pm to 6.15 pm. Mrs. Pallavi Satam, Secondary Marathi Teacher from N. L. Dalmiya High school Mira road was invited to judge the competition.

Vasant Panchami was celebrated at IES Manik Vidyamandir on 5th February, 2022, Saturday. A video was prepared by the students under teachers’ guidance. The video included significance of celebrating Vasant Panchami, Story of Goddess Saraswati, Shlok in Sanskrit and ended with Saraswati Vandana.

06/02/2022 : Suryanamaskar Activity
Suryanamaskar activity was organized for students and parents of IES Manik Vidyamandir on 6th February, 2022 an initiative started by our honourable Prime Minister to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of our Nation’s Independence. A link was sent to the students on Google Classroom. Total 44 students and parents participated by sending their videos and pictures. 9 teachers from the school also participated in this event.

04/02/2022 : Surya Namaskar
Surya Namaskar event was held by IES Manik Vidyamandir - A Tribute on 75th Anniversary of Independence.
A link was shared with the students in the Google Classroom by the Class Teachers on 5th February, 2022.
Forty four students along with their parents as well as nine teachers participated in the nationwide Surya Namaskar activity marking the 75th Anniversary of our Nation's Independence. A record was kept of the total number of Surya Namaskar performed by everyone in the given form.
