I.E.S. Manik Vidyamandir celebrated its Annual Day, a virtual extravaganza of talent and technique on 28th November, 2021. This year the theme for Annual Day was ‘The Skill to Heal, The Spirit to Care.’ which was presented with great zeal and enthusiasm by the students of Kindergarten, Primary and the Secondary Section.

I.E.S. Manik Vidyamandir celebrated its Annual Day, a virtual extravaganza of talent and technique on 28th November, 2021. This year the theme for Annual Day was ‘The Skill to Heal, The Spirit to Care.’ which was presented with great zeal and enthusiasm by the students of Kindergarten, Primary and the Secondary Section. Students enacted incidents from their day to day life in this Pandemic situation which has had an adverse effect on our health. Different aspects were covered where the Kindergarten Section focused on a Food Festival to show the types of healthy food, Primary Section concentrated on a Medical Camp and the Importance of a Balanced Diet and the Secondary Section displayed how different states where affected with the Pandemic and how the different branches of medicines have proved useful in curing various problems. The journey of the problems of a common man to the various treatments and a healthy diet was depicted through a blend of drama, music and dance.

27/11/2021 : Inter School Recitation Competition
The Inter School Recitation Competition for the A.Y. 2021-22 was conducted live on MS Teams platform on Saturday, 27th November, 2021 from 9:00 am till 12:30 pm.
The competition was held between the students of Orion and Manik Vidyamandir. Judge for the competition was Ms. Misbah Mohamedy.
Winners of the Inter House Recitation Competition (which was conducted on 26th 27th& 28th October, 2021 on MS Teams Platform) qualified for the Inter School Recitation Competition. The students of each standard were given a different topic to recite.

15/11/2021 : Children’s Day Celebration
Children’s Day at Manik Vidyamandir was celebrated at 8:15 a.m. on 15th November, 2021. The event was conducted virtually on the MS TEAMS platform. This programme had two segments: Pre-recorded events were shown to the children followed by live games activities for the students.
The event began with a brief information on why this day is celebrated. A wonderful and meaningful poem in Hindi was recited to bring joy to the students. Magic was created with the creativity and art through a fun filled activity. A well-crafted poem was recited in Marathi showing how children are important. The program was filled with the rendition of music along with some recipes of delightful goodies. Some riddles and games were played with the students to fill the air with excitement. Lastly the program concluded with an Antakshari which was played by our very own teachers.

04/11/2021 : Diwali Celebration
I.E.S Manik Vidyamandir ushered in the joyous festival of lights with virtual celebrations. The occasion was marked with the chanting of shlokas, graceful dance performances and creative activities that lit up the virtual platform with festive cheer. Students demonstrated various rituals and explained the importance of Diwali. Activities such as cardmaking, Rangolimaking added imaginative colours to a festival celebration, cooking without fire wherein they prepared Besan Laddoos and Chivada. Dressed up in ethnic attire and doing the Diwali Pujan together we all felt our inner lights shine as bright as the diyas beside.
