Guru Purnima is a tradition dedicated to the spiritual and academic gurus and in keeping with the tradition of revering our gurus for their invaluable contribution in shaping the minds and characters of young people, the students of I.E.S Manik Vidyamandir expressed their gratitude by preparing cards for the teachers.

The Primary section of IES Manik Vidyamandir Celebrated Guru Purnima on Sunday, 5th July, 2020. Guru Purnima (Poornima) is a tradition dedicated to all the spiritual Gurus, who evolved or enlightened humans, ready to share their wisdom. It is celebrated as a festival in India, Nepal and Bhutan by the Hindus, Jains and Buddhists. This festival is traditionally observed by Hindus, Buddhists and Jains to revere their chosen spiritual teachers / leaders and express their gratitude. The festival is celebrated on the full moon day (Purnima) in the Hindu month of Ashadha (June–July) as it is known in the Hindu calendar. It is also known as Vyasa Purnima marks the birthday of VedVyasa.The students of grades 1 and 2 made handmade cards and posted themon the Google classroom. Grades 3 and 4 made cards on paint on the computer and Grade 5 made cards on MS WORD.
