28/06/2024 : Puppet Show

The joy of watching puppets is an incredible experience for the tiny tots. Keeping this in mind, a puppet show was conducted. The topics were ‘Welcome to school’ for Nursery, ‘My Family’ for Jr.KG. and ‘Back to school’ for Sr.KG. Children were fascinated by the movement of the puppets along with rhymes and songs.

21/06/2024 : International Yoga Day

On the occasion of the International Yoga Day, the PE Team planned activities for half an hour for each class from Std I - X.

The activities highlighted a comprehensive approach of celebrating yoga, encompassing physical exercises, mindfulness practices, and spiritual elements.

There was a short Yoga Session for the teachers as well.

19/06/2024 : National Reading Day

The National Reading Day was celebrated to mark the birthday of Shri P.N. Panicker, the Father of the Library Movement. It marked the beginning of a month long reading activity for the students till 18^th July.

After seeing a presentation on National Reading Day, the students of Std. I to X read a story book of their choice which they had brought from home.

The students of Std. III to X wrote a book review highlighting the synopsis of the book, message conveyed and what they liked about the book.

National Reading Day was celebrated to honour the life and works of P. N. Panicker. Teachers explained children the importance of reading. They enjoyed browsing picture books and teacher read aloud story book.

A PowerPoint presentation depicting the theme “Land Restoration desertification and drought resilience” with the slogan “Our Land, Our Future” was shared with the students.

The Academic Year 2024-25 began on a positive note. The orientation for Parents from Std I to Std X was conducted online by the Assistant Head and the Primary In-charge along with the respective class teachers and subject teachers. It helped the parents understand how the new academic year shall unfold resolving all their queries.
