28/02/2023 : Class 4 D/M Assembly
The theme of Std 4 Assembly was introduced as “Marathi Bhasha Diwas” that is celebrated on 27th February every year. First, the Thought for the day was shared, followed by National and International News, and Sports News. The students shared the importance of Marathi Bhasha Diwas. Then they presented a Song on “Labhale Amhas Bhagya Bolto Marathi”. The assembly ended by sharing the importance of “National Science Day” which is celebrated on 28th February every year.
Lastly, the following winners of the Sanskruti Kala Darpan Competition were awarded. A student was also awarded for 1.5km Marathon Race.

On the occasion of Marathi Din, various activities were organised for the students.

Activities 6 To write few lines on your favourite famous places in Maharashtra and stick pictures 7 To write a poem of any one poet (Kusumagraj, Shanta Shelke, Balakavi, V.D Karandikar) and stick pictures 8 To prepare a Literary Documentary 9 To prepare advertisements based on the topics for social awareness -
27/02/2023 : Marathi Bhasha Diwas
Marathi Bhasha Diwas is celebrated in school for children to honour the great Marathi writers and poets. It draws young minds close to their culture and heritage. Different activities were conducted for Marathi Bhasha Diwas in school. Our little ones enjoyed colouring the letters of the Marathi alphabet and its associated pictures.

25/02/2023 : Annual Exhibition (MVM Vibrance)
The Annual Exhibition (MVM Vibrance) at IES Manik Vidyamandir for the A. Y. 2022-23 was conducted on Saturday, 25th February, 2023. The theme for the Exhibition was "75 Years of Independence".
It was conducted for all the sections i.e., Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary in two slots from 8:30 am to 10:30 am and 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Ms. Sandhya Vishwanath Marudkar (M.A. in Philosophy and B.Ed, retired professor of D. G. Ruparel College).
Beautiful exhibits like art work, models, charts made by the students were displayed.

The Annual Exhibition (MVM Vibrance) for the A. Y. 2022-23 was conducted by the school. The theme for the exhibition was ‘Celebrating 75 Years of India’s Independence’. It was conducted for all the sections in two slots i.e., from 8:30 am to 10:30 am and 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The exhibition was inaugurated by Ms. Sandhya Vishwanath Marudkar (M.A. in Philosophy and B. Ed), a retired Professor of Philosophyand Logic from D.G. Ruparel college.
Beautiful exhibits like Art work, models, charts made by the students were displayed.

25/02/2023 : Annual Exhibition
With the splendid start of 2023, 'Vibrance' the Annual School Exhibition of IES MVM joyously portrayed its theme, "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav". The inauguration of the exhibition was done by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Sandhya Vishwanath Marudkar (MA Philosophy and B.Ed). A retired professor from DG Ruparel College of Arts, Commerce and Science.
The Kindergarten section was sparkling with colourful charts, drawings, projects, models and performances of the children. The children spoke about the progress of India in different fields like Agriculture, Dairy Farming, Defence, Science, and Space Technology. They spoke confidently on these topics and also tested the general Knowledge of their audience. The visitors were thrilled to indulge the young smart quiz masters. The Jr. KG showcased their talent with a musical skit on Saving Endangered Animals. The purpose of the exhibition was to exhibit what the children had learnt and instil in them a sense of pride for our heritage and culture.

20/02/2023 : Project on Railways and Waterways for Jr KG Project on Mumbai & Airways for Sr KG ( Any One for each section)
Projects emphasize learning by activity that are long-term and student-centred. It helps children to relate to the concepts taught in class and helps in visual discrimination. Children in the Pre Primary section had a project making activity in school. The Jr. KG made a project on "Waterways and Railways" whereas the Sr. KG class made a project on "Airways." and "Mumbai" Children were asked to assemble the project material in the school. They were excited to place the cut outs and the models to make their project presentable and creative. It also helped them to understand how economically materials can be used. Children gave information on the project they had assembled. This helped to achieve the pedagogy of "learning by doing."

17/02/2023 : Shivjayanti Celebration
Shivjayanti, the birth anniversary of the first Chhatrapati and founder of the Maratha Empire, Shivaji, is celebrated on 19th February every year in the state of Maharashtra as well as worldwide by Marathi people. Our tiny tots from the Kindergarten, celebrated Shiv Jayanti by listening to stories and watching videos of this great Maratha Warrior. A fancy dress activity was conducted wherein the children of Nursery, Jr. KG and Sr. KG came dressed as Shivaji Maharaj, Jijabai, Tanaji Malusare and also as mavlas. They spoke few sentences about this great Maratha warrior and his ideals for Hindavi Swarajya. Children felt drawn towards their heritage and the culture of the Glorious Maratha Empire.

Toys can help children learn many different skills needed in their life. Playing with toys teaches children about sharing, helps develop their fine and gross motor skills, develops problem solving skills and nurtures their creativity. Toy Day was celebrated in the Kindergarten to learn the importance of toys and to nurture their imagination. Children were excited to bring their favourite toy to school. They spoke confidently about how they played with their toys and who had given them. Later they shared their toys with their classmates and took turns to play with them. It was a fun day for them as they enjoyed playing with their friends. The learning outcome of the Toy Day was ‘Sharing is Caring.’
