26/11/2022 : Annual Gathering
An annual Gathering gives the students an opportunityto experience teamwork. The Annual Gathering was organised at B. N. Vaidya Hall, Dadar. 176 students from Stds 6 to 10 participated to showcase their unique talents. The guest of honour for the day was an educationist, Dr. Mrs Preeti Sachdev.

26/11/2022 : Annual Concert
Annual Concert is an excellent platform for children to showcase their talent. This year the topic being 75 years of India’s Independence, the children performed enthusiastically under their teachers' mentoring. The play, The Passion to Flourish was based on how well India has progressed in these last 75 years to be a self-sufficient milk producing country. The message of saving trees was enacted through the famous Chipko Andolan. There were songs and dances. The children dazzled everyone with their performance, talent, and confidence. The outcome was aspectacular show applauded and appreciated by the chief guest Mr Javed Hyder, a renowned Bollywood actor, and the parents.

26/11/2022 : Primary Annual Gathering
Annual Day forms an integral part of our school's activities. On November 26th 2022, IES Manik Vidyamandir celebrated its annual day with great zest, vibrancy, and elation.
The programme began with our honourable chief guest, Mr Milind Wagle, (sports commentator) escorted by other dignitaries, lighting the ceremonial lamp. It was followed by the felicitation of the chief guest.
The Annual Day was woven around the theme "Celebrating 75 Years of Independent India—Our Culture, Our Pride."
The two-hour show held the audience in awe and left them delighted as the students enthralled them with their flawless performance showcased by the students across different grades. A total of 182 students participated in this mega event. Students began by welcoming everyone with a song.
It was a journey into thriving compassion among characters and hilarious scenes interwoven into a dramatically overwhelming play, composed by students from Std. I to Std. V. It highlighted our nation's progress in the 75 years after gaining independence. The play also had musical elements to bring symphony and melody to life.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks and the National Song.

23/11/2022 : MSSA Football Match Under 12 boys
Setting a goal is not the main thing. It is deciding how you will go about achieving it and staying with that plan.
IES ManikVidyamandir’s Under 12 boys MSSA Football Match against St. Elias High School, Khar Road ended up with goal less draw... The Manikeans gave their best were determined to win the next time.

19/11/2022 : First Semester Open House
First Semester Open House was conducted for Stds. I to X. Papers were shown by the respective class teachers to the parents and the child’s academic performance was discussed. Staggered timings were given to avoid overcrowding. Parents of Stds. 1 to 3 came between 8.15 am and 10.15 am and of Stds. 4 and 5 came between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm.

14/11/2022 : Children’s Day Celebration
The day was observed as ‘NO BOOK DAY’. During the first half of the day, the students of Stds. I to V played games in the quadrangle area. While they waited in class for their turn, different age-appropriate games and activities were conducted. During the latter part of the day, the children were shown a movie and they also danced to some foot-tapping music. The Annual Gathering Practice was taken at the usual time. The children enjoyed themselves as it was a good break from routine.

14/11/2022 : Fun filled Trip to Baccha Party for Children’s Day
Children are the most precious flowers in a garden and we made this celebration a very special one and one to cherish. The school arranged a fun filled trip to Baccha Party. The enclosed play area was a great place for the children to explore. From the ball pool, the trampoline to the jungle gym, role play toy section and sand play area, the children had a delightful experience with their buddies. The most awaited item was the magic show which amazed the children. The food was delicious and child friendly. The surprise element was the dancing which had all our superstars dancing on the floor. Minute care was taken to keep the children content and comfortable during the journey by AC coach where snacks were provided from time to time. The staff of Baccha Party and the tour escorts were most courteous and extremely caring. It was a magical trip for the little ones and their teachers. The icing on the cake was the gift which the children received - a clay set each to enhance their imagination and creativity.

14/11/2022 : Children’s Day Celebration
Children’s Day was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm. Various games and fun activities were organized by the teachers. Students of Stds. 6 to 8 played Kho- Kho matches and students of Stds 9 and 10 played Box Cricket. This was followed by fun games, movies and dance time in the class.

Embarking on educational tours, and submerging students into cultural experiences have been found to be invaluable for their development and understanding. It allows them to open their eyes to new environments, positively shapes their perspective and triggers ideas and solutions, that may not stem from their familiar comforts and habits. Students of Stds. 6 to 8 were taken to Hyderabad.
