21/06/2025 : International Yoga Day
"Yoga is the golden key that unlocks the door to peace, tranquility, and joy."
On the occasion of the International Yoga Day, the PE Team planned activities for each class from Std I - X. on 20th and 21st June,2025 in the examination room. The PE Team performed various asanas and pranayam along with the students and gave information about the importance of yoga and its benefits for a healthy life.There was a short Yoga Session for the teachers as well

20/06/2025 : Inter - House Debate competition.

The first round of Inter-House Debate competition was held on 25th June, 2025 for Std. 9th and 10th grade students. It was conducted in the Examination Room and the judges for the same were Ms. Pinki Biswas and Ms. Vaishali Tawde.
The topics for the competition (House wise) were:
Is Artificial Intelligence a threat to human jobs?
Surveillance cameras should be installed in all public spaces to boost security.
Varahamihir House and Maitreyee House were qualified for the final round. -

20/06/2025 : World Productive Day
“Productivity is not about getting everything done, rather it is about getting things done effectively.” – Brianna Gray
The World Productive Day is observed every year on 20th June. This day is celebrated to raise awareness of productivity, efficiency, and innovation. To celebrate this event students from Std I to X were shown a video to teach them how to be organized in their day to day life.

Inter-House Yoga Competition was held on 19th June in the stilt area for Std I – IV. The participants chose an age appropriate asana of their choice and one asana was according to the judge's choice. They also had to perform Sūrya Namaskār. The judge for the said competition were Ms. Rachna Gupta, Ms. Ruchi Joshi

The assembly of class VIII D was presented on 11th June,2025 by the students on the important events of the month like “World Environment Day, Reading Day and World Yoga Day.
Our Assistant Head, Ms. Pinki enlightened the day with her speech. The students participated wholeheartedly and with great enthusiasm.

“Effective communication”
An ‘Orientation Programme’ was conducted for the new set of parents of the students admitted into the classes VII& VIII on 7th June,2025 in the school premises. The orientation programme commenced with a formal welcome address to the parents, where they were welcomed, greeted and thanked for sharing responsibility of their child’s success, with the school as well as the teachers. The parents and the students were then briefed about the rules and regulations of the school.

World Environment Day is celebrated every year on 5th June. The theme for this year is' Beat Plastic Pollution' .Jeju Province in the Republic of Korea was chosen as the host for World Environment day .To celebrate this event students from Std I to X were shown a video on World Environment Day.

IES Manik Vidyamandir had organized a sacred Satya Narayan Puja on 3rd June 2025, seeking the blessings of Lord Satya Narayan, an embodiment of truth and the higher self. The puja was conducted to invoke divine grace for prosperity, harmony, and well-being within the institution and its members.

02/06/2025 : Orientation
"Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success."
The Academic Year 2025-26 began on a positive note. The orientation for parents of Std I & II was held on 2nd June and Std III, IV & t V on 31st May. The orientation was conducted offline by the Assistant Head and the Primary In- charge along with the respective class teachers.
The Orientation sessions covered important information about the school policies and academic expectations. The orientation ended with a question answer session in which the parents shared their doubts and queries.

An Orientation for Std 6 was held on 02nd, June 2025 for the current academic year. Ms. Pinki Biswas, the Assistant Head of Manik Vidyamandir addressed the parents. She laid emphasis on the active involvement of parents in the upbringing of their wards and on active synergy among parents and teachers for the holistic development of the child.
