27/09/2018 Grand Parents Day

Grandparents are greatest treasure of the family.

They are the strong foundation of the family. Through their special love and care they keep a family close at heart.

NEKG celebrated’ Grandparents Day’ on Thursday, the 27th September 2018. To honour the most respected member of the family i.e. Grand Parents.

The celebration started with great zeal by welcoming grandparents at the entrance by Ms. Bharati Godse, Head and Ms. Shraddha Narvekar. The Programme started by a song sung by Ms. Sulabha Limaye. MS Bharati Godse, Headmistress addressed and interacted with grandparents. Grandparents are family’s inspiration, guide and friend who always support their children.

Kids shared their happy moments, experiences towards grandparents in their own words. Each class had conducted games in which grandparents participated with zeal and enthusiasm.

Appropriate music and enthusiastic grandparent grandchildren combination made this event successful .NEKG received an overwhelming response from grandparents. They blessed the management, the Head and the entire staff for organizing such wonderful event.

25/09/2018 Educational visit to SVC Bank

Educational visits give students experiences away from their regular school environment. To explore banking activities NEKG had organised educational visit to SVC bank on 25th September 2018 for SR. kG students.

It was truly an amazing day for kids to visit SVC Bank. Teachers reviewed how math skills are applied Every day and work when they grow up. Teachers explained about cheque book, piggy bank, various counters of payment and withdrawal and ATM. Children acquired the knowledge about overall banking system.

21/09/2018 Anant Chaturdashi

Ganeshotsav, ten days celebration started with the ceremony of "Ganesh Moorty" sthapana on 10th September and was followed with Ganpati Visarjan on 21st September 2018.

Kids and NES staff with immense enthusiasm and devoutness to "Vighnaharta" participated in the festival of ‘Anant Chaturdashi’ in the stilt hall.

Ganesh Moorty was carried with loud Echoes of "Ganapati Bappa Morrya" with the promise to return early next year to bless everyone.

The idol was immerse in the artificial pond (tub.) Understanding the concept of Ganesh festival in its true sense and its effect on mother nature. The shadu clay water i.e. sludge deposit was sprinkled in the garden.

The use of eco friendly Ganesh idol dissolve easily. This tradition saves our environment.

11/09/2018 Ganpati-Celebration 2018-19

10/09/2018 Ganesh Festival

Ganesh festival was celebrated on 10th & 11th Sept.2018. Idol of lord Ganesha was welcomed in each class by kids and NEKG staff with tremendous bliss and dedication. The whole KG echoed with “Ganpati Bappa Morya” in the voice of little kids and NEKG staff which created an exciting and blissful environment.

Ms. Bharati Godse, Headmistress began the pooja by offering flowers to the deity and garlanding the “Bappa and Gauri”. This year the theme selected was ’Syphony’

Project teachers displayed the activity class with Musical Instruments in newly decorated Music room. Best clay articles prepared by kids and musical instruments were displayed in this class.

To teach children the importance of Ganesh festival, free talk was conducted & stories of Lord Ganesha were told. Festival celebrations is a mark of fun, happiness, learning in a unique way & imbibing values.

Thereafter tiny tots performed aartis and were given Prasad “Ganeshas delight” Laddoo.

07/09/2018 Matrudin

The tradition of ‘Matrudin’ i.e. Pithori Amavasya is very ancient and has been part of Indian culture. NEKG Celebrated it on Friday, the 7th Sept. 2018. The resource person Smt. Asha Bhirangi editor of IES “Adarsh Gurukul” Shared her experience on Matrudin. She also shared some tips about how to upbring the child in today’s competitive world, importance of spending quality time with kids, misuse of mobile at early age. Mothers were happy, satisfied, thankful to her for valuable advice. It was followed by Haldi kumkum tradition. Greeting cards prepared by kids were given to mothers. It was one of the way to express gratitude to mothers for her unconditional love.

05/09/2018 Teachers Day Report

Gratitude expresses itself in looks, words and deeds kids showed their gratitude and appreciation by bringing handmade greeting card, flower, a grateful smile filled with happiness and wished all teachers "A Happy Teachers Day". Teachers explained in the class the importance of 5th September which is celebrated as "Teachers Day". Primary students attired as teachers, supervisor, Headmistress and role played each character perfectly. Teachers taught in classes while Head and Supervisor took round in corridor observed teachers teaching.

After the classes all teachers gathered in a class to celebrate "Teachers Day". Mrs, Hilda Sequeria took charge of the programme. The programme commenced with welcome note to all dignitaries, teachers and non-teaching staff present in the class. Programme proceeded with a tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan by garlanding the photo and lighting the lamp. Sulabha V. Limaye sung a prayer in her melodious voice. Prayer enriched us with blessing of wisdom.

After the prayer Mrs. Bharati Godse - Headmistress delivered a speech accompanied by touching words about our own teacher in form of poem’’ Thank You’’ written by her. This poem refreshed our childhood memories of our own school. Poem emphasized on emotions, ethical and moral values of learning

Teachers representative Mrs. Anjali Birje explained the importance of 5th September and how it is related to teachers and why is it celebrated as ‘ Teachers Day’. Teaching is a noble profession that is a mother of all other profession.

Teacher also explained through PPT by examples of Guru and swami Vivekanand. Teachers hardwork & dedication was appreciated and felicitated by our Bharati Godse Headmistress and shraddha Narvekar madam supervisor with a small token of love . Anajli Birje thanked each and everyone for their contribution for arranging the programme.

All staff relished the food with joy and happiness.
