Report on Rainy Season

NEKG children were introduced to the rainy season in the monthly theme. It has helped children to develop a respect for nature along with an awareness of the importance of the rainy season.

Learning was made fun filled through a puppet show and a lively project display, the rains, clouds, thunder, lightning, puddles, rivers, seas, all coming alive in the most joyful way.

Science experiments: It was awe inspiring as children watched the colourful rainbow created by the teachers using focus light of the mobile phone and a glass of water.

Dramatisation: All the children came to school dressed up like rainy creatures, rainbow, fruits and vegetables and enacted the same. The best part was that the costume was prepared with materials available at home.

Activity: Children enjoyed as they became little Chefs and prepared healthy Corn Bhel.

BEFREIND FARM ANIMALS

Farm animals offer a fascinating glimpse into the world of agriculture, where numerous species of animals play an essential role in our daily lives. Introducing Farm animals to our NEKG students not only helped them develop a respect for nature but also enhanced their understanding of where food comes from and the importance of farm animals. Our NEKG students were educated and entertained while exploring farm animals.

• Increased vocabulary and language skills through farm animals like milking cows, sty, piglets, etc.
• Introduce students to different farm animals and their characteristics through puppet shows, like how many legs and ears they have and what they eat.
• Develop an understanding of the role farm animals play in our lives. Provide us with clothing, food, and help in our day-to-day work.
• Foster empathy and respect for the well-being of animals. How to calmly and gently pet animals or interact with farm animals.
• Learn about the importance of responsible animal care. The animals should be fed at the proper time. They should be given adequate water for drinking. They should be checked on a regular basis for injury or disease.

All the children became farm animals and enacted the same. The best part was that the costume was prepared with materials available at home. Children did project work on farm animals.
