IES NEW ENGLISH SCHOOL
In the month of March Our NEKG displayed the project on Solar System.
All the planets were made from lanterns and hung as per their order in the solar system.
Children understood the positions of the various planets, which planet is the closest to the sun, which is the farthest, the orbit of the earth, sizes, colour of the planets, which planets have rings, and a lot more. They could read the names of the planets and observe each and every planet.
Children became the planets and the sun themselves, in mock demonstrations, and rotated and revolved in their orbits, creating their own solar system.
Our planet is extra special. We need to protect the uniqueness of our Mother Earth and keep it safe and healthy for future generations to live in, was the message that every child carried home.

IES NEKG. Bandra celebrated annual concert on the 22nd December 2023 with great zeal and enthusiasm, on our school ground.
Mr. Ishank Raghupate, MSc (Astronomy and Space Physics) Professional singer, Music Director, Instrumentalist and All India Radio Jockey and Ex student of our IES NEKG. graced the occasion as a Chief Guest.
The programme inaugurated following the Indian culture of ‘Lighting Lamps”, by the Chief Guest. All the children from Mini, JR and SR KG. participated in the programme. Our children presented Ishastavan, action songs, drama and folk dance and rocked the stage with great zeal and confidence.
Annual Report was presented by the Headmistress Mrs. Medha Kadlag.
The Chief Guest Mr. Ishank Raghupate appreciated the efforts of the NEKG TEAM and kids.
Parents were happy, enthused and appreciated efforts of children as well as teachers. The programme concluded with vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem.
