On 30th July 2025, an Orientation Programme was held for the parents of Mini, Junior, and Senior KG classes. It was a great opportunity for parents to learn about the school’s activities and how they can support their child’s learning.
The programme began with a welcome speech by Ms. Sarita Teacher. She shared the school’s expectations from students and parents. She spoke about important points such as:
• No individual birthday celebrations in school
• One-to-one meetings with teachers
• Using the school website for updates
The Head, Ms. Medha Kadlag, gave a presentation to explain what the National Education Policy 2020 NEP is and how it benefits the children. She also talked about the five domains, the Panch Koshas under NEP with simple examples, and explained the importance of:
• L – Listening
• S – Speaking
• R – Reading
• W – Writing
Ms. Kadlag emphasized how working together – parents, teachers, school, and home – will help children become more confident and independent.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Seema Teacher, who expressed her gratitude to all the parents for their presence and support.
NEKG Teachers prepared a project on farm animals, showcasing pictures and models of various animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, donkeys, horses, cows, sheep, hens, pigs, and ducks. Each animal was displayed along with its young ones, food habits, and shelter.
Children learned that cows give us milk, hens lay eggs, and sheep provide us with wool. They also discovered how horses and donkeys help in carrying loads and assisting with farming activities. Through this project, children understood the importance of farm animals in our daily lives and the need to take good care of them by providing proper food, clean water, and adequate shelter.
Show and Tell Activity :- Show and tell activity was conducted. Children brought farm animal models and spoke about them.
