On Thursday, 13th March 2025, NEKG showcased a vibrant project on ‘Holi.’ Teachers took the opportunity to share interesting facts about the festival with their classes. The children thoroughly enjoyed participating in a palm painting activity, making the day even more colorful and fun-filled!
On March 12th, 2025, Kindergarten children embarked on an exciting journey, Mission: Space Exploration.
The activity of enacting the planets proved to be a highly engaging and effective way to introduce the children to the wonders of the solar system. The students were actively involved in the entire teaching and learning process. They delighted in the slow, graceful spins and energetic twirls as they moved along their respective orbits on a vibrant chalk-drawn solar system.
“Buckle up as we take off into the vastness of the universe,” they were told as they began their cosmic journey.
Each child wore a crown representing a planet and dramatized the movements of the Sun and planets. They revolved and rotated in sync with a visual presentation of the solar system, each planet moving with its own unique rhythm. This hands-on activity allowed the children to feel the motion of space in a fun and memorable way.
"Use the sky as your canvas," became a creative motto for the students. Jr.KG children painted newspapers to represent the sky, while Sr.KG children expressed their creativity by coloring and illustrating the entire solar system. Mini.KG students expanded their curiosity by learning the names of the planets.
This immersive experience sparked wonder, creativity, and curiosity in the students, offering them a meaningful introduction to the fascinating world of space.
