NES KG organized a Shadu idol-making event to install eco-friendly Ganesh Moorti. Children observed the lump of clay from round, oval, cylindrical shapes molded to hands, big stomach, long trunk, broad ears, mooshak, and modak. Each child had a twinkle of happiness as the ‘Ganapati Bappa’, took its form, in front of their eyes.
Little ones were excited to welcome ‘Vighnaharta”.The whole atmosphere echoed with Ganapati Bappa Morya’. They welcomed Lord Ganesha by singing devotional songs.
Children dressed up traditionally for the celebration and took the darshan.
NES KG devotees recited shlokas and prayers for wisdom and happiness. Children were told stories of Lord Ganesha, informative talk of Ganesh Chaturthi, and the significance of an eco-friendly environment.
To enhance their creativity and traditional values, children made mooshak, flowers, and Ganapati idols, using colorful clay.
The eco-friendly visarjan was conducted in the assembly hall by making an artificial pond. Children were told the importance of saving nature, thus celebrating the “Eco-Friendly Festival”.
Children thanked Lord Ganesha with the prayer "Pudhchya Varshi lavkar yaa".
