Their confident interactions and warm smiles reflected the preparation and dedication they had invested in the event.
The Orion Bazaar served as an excellent opportunity for children to experience the fundamentals of entrepreneurship in an engaging and age-appropriate manner. As young sellers, they practised effective communication, customer service, teamwork, decision-making, and basic money-handling skills. They also learned the importance of organising products neatly, welcoming customers politely, and presenting their goods with confidence.
The event also strengthened classroom learning by enabling students to apply their knowledge in real-life situations. Concepts related to fruits, vegetables, healthy eating, nutrition, and daily essentials became more meaningful as children explained the benefits of the products they were selling. Those participating as buyers enjoyed making thoughtful purchases, understanding the process of exchange, and practising courteous interactions during transactions.
The lively marketplace was further enriched by the encouraging presence of our Principal, KG Coordinator, Primary Coordinator and Secondary Coordinator, teachers, parents, and students of Std. IX and X, who visited the stalls and motivated the young entrepreneurs by appreciating and purchasing their products.
Filled with laughter, learning, and enthusiastic participation, Orion Bazaar was a memorable celebration of creativity, collaboration, and experiential learning. WORLD PRODUCTIVITY DAY
19/06/2026
"Small habits built today become great achievements tomorrow."
Productivity is not about doing more it is about doing things with purpose, focus, and consistency. Encouraging children to develop productive habits from an early age helps them become organized, responsible, confident, and independent learners. Through meaningful experiences, young minds learn the value of managing their time, completing tasks with dedication, and making the best use of every opportunity.
To instill these life skills, IES Orion Kindergarten celebrated World Productivity Day on Friday, 19th June 2026, with thoughtfully planned activities designed especially for Nursery, Jr.KG, and Sr.KG students. The celebration aimed to help children understand that even the smallest efforts, when done with sincerity and focus, lead to meaningful accomplishments.
The day commenced with an interactive classroom discussion where teachers introduced the concept of productivity in a simple and engaging manner. Children learned how staying attentive, following routines, and completing their work independently can help them become more efficient and responsible in their everyday lives.
Nursery students enthusiastically participated in hands-on activities such as stacking rings and sorting objects according to colour and size. These enjoyable tasks strengthened their observation skills, concentration, hand-eye coordination, and early problem-solving abilities while encouraging them to work with patience and purpose.
Jr. KG students enjoyed a series of fine motor challenges involving buttoning, lacing, zipping, and unzipping within a given time. These engaging activities enhanced finger dexterity, perseverance, and time awareness, while motivating children to complete tasks with confidence and accuracy.
Sr.KG students began with calming meditation exercises that encouraged mindfulness and self-control, followed by stimulating academic activities such as story sequencing and identifying place values. These exercises nurtured logical thinking, sustained attention, decision-making, and emotional balance, all of which contribute to becoming productive learners.
The celebration concluded on a joyful and enriching note, inspiring our little Orionites to embrace positive habits, remain focused on their goals, and understand that every small step taken with dedication leads to lifelong success.
