‘There is always something to be Thankful For.’
“A grateful Heart is a magnet for miracles”. A true saying which tells us the importance of being grateful for the little things and people that make our life beautiful & meaningful. Bringing this into reality, Thanks Giving Week was celebrated in IES Orion Kindergarten from Monday, 15th January 2024 to Friday, 19th January 2024 to inculcate the value of "Dignity of Labour". We thanked the helpers of our society as we celebrated ‘THANKS GIVING WEEK’. Community Helpers play an important role in our life; they put a lot of time and energy to make our community a better place. An informative PowerPoint presentation was shared with the students. Students enjoyed singing songs, watching stories and educational videos on Community Helpers. They were also taught that all types of jobs should be respected equally. Community Helpers like Doctor, Dentist, and Police women were invited as Resource persons to enhance learning and inculcate the value of ‘Dignity of Labour.’ Students dressed up as ‘Community Helper’ and enjoyed enacting the same character. They shared information with different material on the topic 'Community Helper' to facilitate learning.
‘The more you thank life, the more life gives you to be thankful for’.
