Projects allow children to demonstrate their capabilities while working independently.
It shows the child's ability to apply desired skills .It also develops the child's ability to work with his or her peers, building teamwork and group skills.
Jr.KG children prepared project on Railways and Waterways and Sr.KG on Mumbai. Children carried colourful paper cutouts, models, boxboard, ice-cream sticks, glue, empty match boxes and different other materials to assemble the Project. With great zest and attention children made their Project.

22/02/2019 Shivaji Jayanti – Secondary Assembly
A brief speech was given by the students of grade 7 to highlight the importance of celebrating Shivaji Jayanti. Students presented a Powada on the life of Shivaji Maharaj glorifying his deeds.

19/02/2019 Shiv Jayanti
Shiv Jayanti is celebrated on 19th February in Maharashtra to commemorate the birth anniversary of the great Maratha warrior Shivaji Maharaj.
On the occasion of Shivaji Jayanti, various activities were conducted in our school in order to create awareness in the young minds of the children regarding the valiant Maratha warrior, Shivaji Maharaj. Pre-Primary children came dressed like Shivaji, Jijamata, Sambaji, Mavlas, Tanaji and spoke few lines on the same. Sr KG children performed a skit on the life of Shivaji Maharaj.

14/02/2019 Marathi Bhasha Competitions
Marathi recitation competitions were held on 14th February for grade 6 to 9.
Grade 6 – Elocution, Grade 7- Bharud, Grade 8 – Powada, Grade 9 – One act play. Different topics were given to the students and from each grade, first and second place student were selected for Intra IES Marathi Bhasha Competitions.

09/02/2019 Educational Trip To ‘Gandhi Darshan’
Venue : Kora Kendra.
The students of garde 8 and 9 were escorted through a gallery walk of around one hundred photographs on the life of Gandhiji and his contribution to the freedom struggle. There was also a statue of the Mahatma, his charkha and some household utensils used by him..
Students got an exposure to many pet animals, birds, insects and different kinds of trees, flowers and vegetables growing on the farm.
The students were sensitised to the values that the Father of the Nation upheld throughout his life. They could see that Gandhiji lived by example. The knowledge gained re enforced their history syllabus.

09-02-2019 Field Trip to Sanjay Gandhi National Park
As it is rightly said ‘To travel is to evolve’. A team of excited nature enthusiasts of grades 6th and 7th set out on a trail to Sanjay Gandhi National Park.
On arrival to the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, students were taken for the mini train ride to explore the forest area and the wild life around.
After the train ride, students were taken deep inside the Sanjay Gandhi National Park to the highest peak called the Kanheri caves in Mumbai which comprises of ancient Buddhist caves. Students saw the caves and rock cut monuments with Buddhist sculptures, relief carvings, rock cut stupas, paintings and inscription dating from 1st century BCE to the 10th Century CE.
Students got a glimpse of the Buddhist era and architecture. It gave the insight to the life of people and monasteries, devoid of any decorations and meant for simple living, studying and meditating.
Each and every detail we observed made us understand and appreciate the bounty and the beauty that the expansive living world had on offer. The trip gave an opportunity for students to explore every part of the national park.

09/02/2019 Educational Trip to Vivek Agro Farm
A field trip for students of Grade 1 to 5 to Vivek Agro Tourism NGO &Rural Development Centre, Virar was organized on 9th February 2019.
Students were given a presentation on the flora and fauna which they could see on the Agro farm.
After this briefing, students were taken for a nature trail to spot the various plants , animals and insects that were mentioned in the A.V presentation.
Students got an exposure to many pet animals, birds, insects and different kinds of trees, flowers and vegetables growing on the farm.
tudents were also taken around the Emu farm, Gaushala, Gobar Gas plant, Rice Cultivation, Vermi compost plant, Organic fertilizer, Bamboo Handicrafts and Furniture workshop.
After a palatable lunch and few games organized by the volunteers, students departed for school.The trip was very educative and a good learning experience for students.

Toys play a very important role in Childs life. Toys not only help children to express their feelings but also help them feel secure. Playing with toys develop various skills like Fine motor, Gross motor, descriptive Language and Social skills among children. Children brought their favourite toy shared and played with their friends.
