Keeping the above quote in mind, on 30th June 2022, an Orientation Programme was conducted for the Parents of Mini, Jr and Sr. KG. It was held in our school auditorium.
The programme was conducted by our Head Mistress Ms. Medha Kadlag.
Our Head Mistress thoroughly explained about The New Education Policy 2020 (NEP), the guidelines of which are followed in the new Curriculum for the Academic Year 2022-23.
Ms. Kadlag explained in detail how we aim at holistic development of the children, by implementing it in our syllabus, the ideas behind it, how to make education more well-rounded, useful and fulfilling to the learners by using Language Literacy and Numeracy, Art and Craft, and inculcating values for overall development of the child.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and the parents left the auditorium ina happy, satisfied, and contented state of mind.
International Yoga Day is celebrated every year on 21st June since its inception in 2015. “Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s Tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body”. The International Yoga Day is a great opportunity to imbibe in our children the value of discipline.
Our teacher Ms. Meenal Pednekar conducted yoga session for Mini and Jr. KG children.
The session for Sr. KG was conducted by our Resource person Ms. Deepa Mayekar with her associates Ms. Reshma Mane and Ms. Savita Tikam. Children practiced different Yoga postures like pranayama, surayanamaskar, butterfly, meditation and chanting of “OM ”.
21st June Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice which originated in ancient India. Regular yoga practice creates mental clarity, sharpens concentration and centers attention, to inculcate this habit in students. The international yoga day was celebrated on 21st June 2022 in our school with great zeal.
