VIRTUAL CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
24/12/2020
The Cheerful season of Christmas brings that special spirit of loving the idea of life. Make every bit of life an odyssey to remember!!
The holiday season is finally here, which means it’s time to deck the halls, bring out the Figgie pudding and embrace all things merry and bright. And while we love Christmas, it’s sometimes all too easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of the holiday preparations.
Keeping this excitement in mind, we celebrated Christmas on the common platform of Microsoft Teams.
The e-invites were sent to the grandparents, parents, teachers and students.Always pray to have eyes that see the best in people, a heart that forgives the worst, a mind that forgets the bad and a soul that never loses faith in God.
The celebration started with the Prayer and the School Anthem and it was followed by a melodious and cheerful welcome song presented by the students.
Introduction of the event was given by our Council Member in which she explained the importance of Christmas and life of the Christ. She also gave us some beautiful gifts suggestions.
Students from the Pre-Primary and Primary Section gave information on various aspects of Christmas such as The Advent, The Preparations before Christmas, Birth of Jesus Christ and The Story of Santa Claus and the Reindeer Cart.
The event turned out to be more joyful as the sensational singers of Orion sung songs such as ‘Gloria’, Song on Santa Claus and ‘We wish you a Merry Christmas’. It was a pleasure to see our tiny tot of Pre-Primary Section tapping their feet on the tune of Rudolph- the Red nosed reindeer.
Then came the most awaited moment of the event. The arrival of Santa Claus as he gave all of us the three most important Mantras- Wash your hands thoroughly, Wear your mask properly and Keep safe distance.
The event was concluded by emphasizing on values such as sharing and caring, being kind and helpful to the poor and needy and making people around us happy by expressing gratitude towards them. So why not initiate a will for volunteering at a young age, to make this world a better place to live in.
