Lots of love and blessingsNag Panchami was celebrated with great excitement as it was our first virtual celebration. The celebration started at 10 am in an online session with many attendees of staff, students, parents and grandparents.
The celebration started with prayers and the school anthem. Ms. Dona told us about the traditions that people follow on this day. This was followed by an interesting narration of the story of Nag Panchami by Ms. Sarita, supported with a beautiful PowerPoint presentation. We enjoyed listening to the story and each one of us understood the reason for celebrating this festival.
Then Ms. Chandrika told us the importance of snakes and how they help us in maintaining an ecological balance. The students were also informed about various NGO’s and Organizations working to save these animals.
Ms. Angela conducteda small activity in which we learnt how to make a snake out of clay and dough. All of us enjoyed the activity and had a great time.
The Celebration was concluded with a Vote of thanks by Selvin sir. The Celebration concluded with the national song.
This session strongly conveyed the message‘We should preserve our nature by respecting everyone’s rights, then in return we get a healthy environment.
