TOY DAY
07/02/2023
Toys play a very important role in a child's life. Toys not only help children to express their feelings, but also help them feel secure. Playing with toys develops various skills like fine, gross, language and social skills among children. Kindergarten students of IES Orion celebrated their favourite toy day in school on Tuesday, 7th February 2023. They brought their favourite toy to school and had a great time playing with toys.
Toy day has been an activity based event for the students to strengthen the speaking skill among the tiny tots. They brought their favourite toys to create a Toyland. The little ones were encouraged to come out of their inhibitions and speak about their toys. This activity also enhanced the value of “Sharing is Caring” in the minds of the young ones.
Toys nurture children's cognitive development during the most important childhood years. Toys stimulate concentration levels and enhance attention span and memory. In turn, cognitive development during the childhood years improves children's ability to approach language and math skills in a fun way.
