PUPPET SHOW
30/09/2022
Puppets change the entire classroom by creating more possibilities for creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and curiosity. Puppets provide a sense of security that makes it easier for children to express their thoughts and feelings that they might not otherwise feel comfortable sharing. Talking through a puppet allows children to explore feelings freely and re-enact situations in a way that they are familiar with.
The students of IES Orion Kindergarten experienced the same joy while watching the Puppet Show which was organized on Friday, 30th September 2022. The theme of the Puppet Show was “Eat Healthy, Stay Healthy.”
Students were given an insight into healthy food and eating habits through various songs and a short puppet story through a fun filled way using puppets, and other teaching aids related to the topic to facilitate learning.
The entire session was conducted with help of puppets, narrating real life situations, correlating with ‘Value Education’ and touching all the areas of development. The students thoroughly enjoyed the puppet show.
